Our old garden gate needed lots of repair, so husband made a new one. I christened it today with a wreath of garden flowers.

Welcome to the porch! The weather is wonderful!
Yesterday we were 87 and humid so very humid. This morning we were dry, breezy and 54. Perfect but more like fall than the last of July. I wrapped up in a blanket and had my coffee this morning. It made me so happy. This weather is supposed to last all week.
Have you ever started a craft thinking "this is going to be so great!" and end up with well a circus tent? I wanted a large bee skep and it turned into a circus tent look. I put it in the garden and told the bees the circus has come to town enjoy.
I am still cleaning out I found a container of things we used when we camped. Since there will be no more camping in my future, I am seeing what needs to go. These plastic plates are so cute I have to keep them, and the silverware is darling.
Daisys on the handles it would make a cute table on the porch, so they are a keep also.
Friday, I went to the thrift store to drop off yet more boxes and I had some time to kill so I shopped a bit, and I found this darling blouse.
All stitched in a paisley design.
Fits perfectly and quite a buy at 3.00.
I will close with this I was walking by and saw the sun shining in and the breeze moving the curtains so pretty and peaceful.

The weather was wonderful here too after last nights thunderstorm; but not to the 57 degrees you experienced. Just remember the colder weather and darker days will also be forthcoming.
Adore the blouse and am envious. Perhaps I need to visit my local thrift shop again since it has been a while. There are many items in my closet purchased there in the past.
So glad that your weather has improved. It was super hot and humid when we were in Washington D.C. and hot here in Utah when we got home, but today we got some rain and the temps are supposed to drop a bit. I'm glad your weather has improved. We had a storm move in again yesterday afternoon and last night the temps were in the 50's. My kind of night! It's much less humid today and sunny. I think our week is going to be good also. I have to work tomorrow and Wednesday though...sometimes I do wonder why I went back but then I get my check and think...well, not so bad! Ha! Anyway, enjoy your week. Your gate is adorable. I'll be putting up my new wreath I bought at the Farmer's market to welcome in August.

It was a cool 55º this morning here. I actually wore sweat pants and long sleeves to Bone Builders this morning. I still have on a sweatshirt, writing this at lunch time. We spoke to friends in MD on FaceTime this morning and they noticed Dan had on a flannel shirt and me the sweatshirt. They were envious of our temps.

It's been cooler and dry here too for a change but it's supposed to rain again today sometimes. Great buy on that blouse. I haven't been shopping at the thrift store in quite a while. I'm due for a little visit.

There is just something about light through windows sometimes that makes me pause...add a soft breeze and curtains and I'm mesmerized. Sweet fence...and I love your bee skep! I don't see a circus tent.... I'm very impressed. This past week was oppressive with temps bubbling into the 90's. Fortunately today is cooler and it is supposed to continue through the upcoming week. Unfortunately, our 70% chance of rain dwindled to 1%. :-( ~Robin~
