Lady And Ballet Slippers

The lady slippers in our yard are back again this year. I am always so happy to see them.

I had a very few minutes in my rug room. All I can say is Yikes!!! There has been no time between cleaning windows and screens and gardening not much time left for cleaning my rug room.
Today was my sweet Grand's dance recital. (In the back)
She is such a wonderful dancer and a joy to watch.

Her first year preforming on toe. I could not seem to get a good picture of her facing front. But the most exciting thing is she was put into the senior ballet troup! She was so excited! She has worked very hard for that.
                    *******
I have a quiet week ahead and good weather is on the way.
I have some veggies to plant and then I am in pretty good shape to relax a bit.
Have a great week my sweet friends.

I enjoyed the visit to your wool room. Yours is quite tidy compared to mine.

It is nice to see the flowers blooming and the cold weather gone. What a treat to see her dance and she looks beautiful on stage. We rarely get to see the boys in any extra activities.

Aren’t the ballet performances exciting? My daughter is an apprentice in a ballet company - how they stay en pointe is amazing (and can be painful) yay for your granddaughter! How fun!

Congratulations to Miss B. for her great performance. That looks painful to me.
Good for you to getting caught up with your gardening. I'm just getting started.

My hooking room and my whole house is in need of tidying.

Take care, hugs.

I know you are so proud of your granddaughter and her performance. Sounds like she is very talented. I will be working on getting my vegetable garden planted next week too. I hope you have a great week. See you again soon!

She's beautiful. And it takes amazing strength to dance en pointe, and still look graceful. Dancers are great athletes.

I think Lady Slippers are the most exquisite wildflowers 💜.

Not being able to sleep I finally have time to catch up on blogs! I read your previous ones and enjoyed the nature walks, the super thrift finds, and the visit with your friends. I smiled at those cute eggs because Jack has a patient who always brings us eggs. I love it when I'm doing lots of baking but not so much now so I have 3 doz in my fridge! Miss B is so sweet and looks fabulous dancing! Congrats to her for advancing and enjoying herself and making her family so proud! I haven't planted veggies yet but will this week and weekend. Lots of work in the yard and some home projects sure keep us busy! Take care Cathy!

Our granddaughters’ final show was this past weekend. Such grace and strength! Our eldest hopes to be called up to point classes this fall. How fortunate we are to be able to enjoy their performances. The love of dance is alive and well. Your sweet girl looks beautiful and so graceful!

My daughter was a dancer as well so lots of years of recitals and toe shoes. I am so happy she found something she enjoys so much.

I look forward to seeing those lady slippers on your post each year. They are so very beautiful and something that doesn't grow here. So very delicate...as is the lovely Miss B. She has the exquisite elegance of a ballerina that shines - you can see it in the tilt of her neck the grace of her hand. I always wanted to be a ballerina but extracurricular anything was not a possibility growing up. Congratulations to her for moving up in the ranks. Rainy, busy, week here. I just hope it isn't as frustrating as it promises to be. ~Robin~

I hope you find time to relax. It seems like I never find that time…sigh.
The lady slippers are so sweet. I have never seen them in person.
CONGRATS TO MISS B. Very exciting!
Let’s not talk about the condition of our hooking rooms 🤣🤣🤣
