I Swallowed A Fly! I Don't Why..

Well yes I do because I can't keep my mouth shut on my walk.
It was more like a tiny may fly but there was lots of spitting going on ugg!

Flowers on my walk
There were about a dozen lady slippers along the way.
And at home my hosta is very happy.
And so are these. I just can't remember the name of them.

Memorial day here there are always lilacs mmmmm.

Husband took me to lunch Friday. Not a bad view.
I washed all of these walls. I mean I scrubbed them I changed the bucket 6 times.
The painter comes Tuesday fingers crossed. I can not wait to get this porch back together!
*****
We went to a family BBQ today its always nice to see everyone.
Nothing much happening this week, rain for tomorrow so I hope to get time to put a hook in my hand again.
Have a wonderful week my sweet friends.

Yuck, I've also inhaled a few bugs over the years, especially when I was a runner. Thank goodness no bees, lol.
Love that part of the hooked rug I see.

Swallowing a bug is just nasty!
I think the mystery flower is an allium.
Hopefully you will get a chance to have hook in hand!

Glad you are all right. Beautiful pictures
I look foward to the porch being done.
Bug snacking is an awful hazard.

Your lilac must smell heavenly! Ours is all done now. Your Allium are doing well. My DIL grows those too. Have a great week. Hopefully no more bugs fly into your mouth :(

Well at least you are doing your part for climate change...one fly at a time. ;-) Those lady slippers take my breath away each time I see them. And, yes, those are allium. Mine came up and had beautiful buds on them and were eaten the quick by the herd of rabbits I am living amongst. I thought those at least would be safe as they are in the onion/garlic family (which, rumor has it, rabbits don't care for) but, nope...gone. Never saw a single bloom. And all my hostas - or what remains of them - have huge irregular chew shapes. We have had a LOT of rain. Every other day it seems. Yesterday was an all-day drench and it finally started coming in my laundry room again. Ugh. Happy hooking - and good luck with the paint project. ~Robin~

We moved our family picnic from today, Monday to Sunday. Good thing because it is so blustery and raining now.

Akkk! Bug breakfast is not fun! My sister is fighting the cicadas right now. The dogs are eating them up and then vomiting them back...yuck double time! I just finished painting my deck and got all the furniture out yesterday. I'll look forward to seeing your porch all done. It always looks so pretty and relaxing! Allium is the flower I believe. I don't have any but have seen them in gardens and they are really nice. Have a good week. It's cool here right now and I think you are too! Love the cooler and no humidity days. I get lots more done. Out to work in the yard. Take care Cathy!

Eating bugs is not that fun - I agree.
I hope you get your deck done and things back together.
I love your walk with all the flowers.
Hope you had a nice Memorial Weekend!

Wow -- you are a wall-washing machine! Well done (and your arms must have been killing you!)

I have to remember to keep my mouth shut when I walk too.. . never a fly but those little guys are just as icky!

Whenever we go for a walk this time of year, it’s the so called “no see-ums” that can be quite annoying. Congrats on getting the oorch wall wahed and cleaned for repainting.
