Well peeps another Easter
Has gone by.
We were a smaller group this year. The kids had a good time and it was nice to see those that could make it.
Of course a week before Easter our microwave died. So thankfully husband could install a new one.

I love the cartoon. I don't watch or listen to anything anymore. I figure if it's real important, someone will tell me. I just can't take all of it...
Oh Wow that is way too much snow! On the other extreme they have been talking severe tornadoes for my area suppose to hit early tonight and last til around midnight-may we all be safe.

Happy Easter and I'm glad you didn't have to fight snow yesterday but holy heck, snow all week??? I think we may get some flakes on Wednesday but lots of rain also or maybe a tornado or 2. Oh well, I guess we'll savor summer when it arrives! Love your thrift find too. Have a good week if you can and maybe you need to make a sacrifice to Mother Nature to reverse the winter weather. I'd start with that crazy groundhog!
Lovely vase! I can relate to that cartoon and frankly there was a time when I didn't listen to the news at all and was much less stressed. Sorry for all your snow and I'm being inundated with more rain.
No eggs hidden in our yard because half of it is still in snow. I hadn't heard of a forecast of feet of snow only 8 inches. We will be traveling to Buffalo so hope to miss it.
At least the good news is that a spring snow doesn't stick around for too long...but that is a crazy amount. Stay safe indoors and HOOK!!!

Happy Easter Cathy - glad you managed to celebrate despite the upheavals your family has been going through. Yikes on the snow. It's supposed to snow here tomorrow too but, thankfully, no more than 3" and JUST tomorrow. Will be thinking of you and hoping the storm is not as intense - or long lasting - as they are predicting. ~Robin~

Wow, you did get more than your share of snow. We got lots and lots of rain, and a little snow in the mix but it all melted quickly. Sorry about the microwave breaking down. They just don't make appliances to last long anymore.

We blew our microwave up several years ago. My mother-in-law sent one of those egg-shaped hard-boiled microwave egg cookers. Let's just say it didn't go well. We actually don't miss it. The microwave or the exploding egg-shaped egg cooker.
