Full Moon Energy?

We had a beautiful moon. I wonder if that is where my energy comes from?

This is a full size feather tree. The ones I have are really feather trees but modern not the lovely old antiques. I love the candles I bought this year on the tree. They are remote control and battery operated.

This picture is at a weird angle this tree is not leaning. This is the first time in several years I have set this tree up.

It is filled with my treasured ornaments.

I have been collecting for years.

I love them all so much. The very best part is my daughter loves them also!

Well it's cookie time!

Turtles so easy the hardest part is unwrapping the rolos.

I tried 2 new to me cookie recipes. The cookies on the left stoll needs one side dipped in chocolate. Coconut almond. The cookies on the right are a gluten free gingerbread. They are good just not my favorites.
I have a couple more batches to make tomorrow for the drop off at the cookie walk for the nonprofit.
I will leave you with a picture from 9 years ago when we volunteered for the polar express.
Have a great rest of your week!

I would love to have a full size feather tree!!! Yours is a beauty and the battery candles are just perfect.
I haven't made those turtles in many years. They are so yummy.
That was a great picture of you and hubby. I bet you haven't changed much at all.

Your turtle cookies look delicious. I don't know why but I never made Turtle Cookies before. I must give them a try.

Your place is looking so festive. I love your trees.
When you find out where you get your energy, let me know. I caught a head cold. My first one since before Covid.

Take care.
Hugs, Julia

I have never heard of a feather tree, Cathy, but like seeing yours and it is wonderful to have such treasured ornaments. I haven't yet thought bout cookie baking, but will do a couple of recipes in the next couple weeks - chocolate chips for sure, molasses cookies and peanut butter - all favorites here.

Lovely full size feather tree. The only feather tree I own is one made by me a few years ago with real goose feathers. It was fun to make at the time. Cookies look delicious and will be enjoyed by those who partake.

Your decor is lovely. I think your trees are beautiful and it's fun to bring out the treasured things every so often. We don't have the tree up yet and I still have a few things left to put out. I'm slowly getting into the holiday mode as Amazon has started bringing the items I ordered! Yummy looking cookies! I'd go for the turtles myself. I might have to try making those. I think your energy comes from not having to work and taking time to rest and enjoy this season!

Was thinking this morning that I need to start making cookies except kitchen project gets finished next week so must wait. I probably won't make as many this year because we eat too many of them.

Send some of that energy my way, please! So glad to see your decorations...such pretty trees! I love the sentimental ornaments, that's what makes the tree so special, the sweet memories. Enjoy the season...put your feet up from time to time and just settle in to relax!

Beautiful trees. Love the feather one too. I have two but not as big as yours. Adding your special ornament makes it even better. Enjoy the season. Janice

Love feather trees and those candles, in fact, I got the same type but red. We have one skinny tree, not enough room for a big one. Love that photo of the two of you.
