Very Chilly Day

The temps never got out of the 30's and the wind is blowing.
There are pretty good gusts now and then, my morning walk was chilly, but I was dressed for it and as always, I felt good after.
This is my only thanksgiving rug and not a good one either.

I have lots of fall rugs so those will do for now.
On a cold windy home field our Patriots just won!
Thank goodness I thought my husband would have a stroke on some of those plays lol. He was doing a lot of yelling. He had his lucky patriot's shirt on for a little insurance!
His old high school just won their championship 49 years after his team won so it is football central around here at least the talk is.

Part of my wool shelving just because I love looking at it....

I finally put our birdfeeder back up. Hopefully the bear is asleep and no more issues. I wondered how long it would take for them to find it again. Just a few hours, this woodpecker is a frequent visitor.
We had a bird hit one of big windows sadly they didn't make it so I taped some old calendar pages up for now until I can get some stickies for the window. Now no birds in the feeder I just cannot win.
***
I will post again Wednesday but I am off to my hooking room to watch Christmas Vacation for the first time this year. Crazy but it makes me laugh every time.

Your weather sounds like ours and just not pleasant!!! I am back to the treadmill. Too cold for me to walk outdoors. I am a wuss.
Love the crow pulling the wagon. What a fun rug.
Congrats to your Patriots and to hubby's high school team.
Your wool shelves are so organized. I am envious. Mine need some serious attention.
Christmas Vacation is a great movie. I, too, think it is hysterical.
Happy hooking ;-)

Oh boy the wind was terrible here today too with temperatures at least 10 degrees below normal for this time of year. I've had birds hit my window or screen and they are stunned for a while but recover. Only once have I found one that didn't.
Nice seasonal rugs all, and of course you love looking at your wool shelves as they are very well organized and lined up. Had I not had a rug pattern to draw for someone many yards of wool would be pilled on top of my drawing table right now.
My first husband (deceased at 44) would stand up and scream at the TV during football games too.

Congratulations on your husband's team winning. I'm glad he didn't have a stroke or heart attack.

It's been chilly here too and I'm visiting my family in the north of the province. It's been snowing all day and there's over a foot of snow that fell today. I came a day early to miss driving in the storm. Hopefully, I'll be able to return home tomorrow. It is over a three-hour drive. By tomorrow afternoon, I hope the road will be less slippery and the plows will have sanded the roads.

Happy Thanksgiving.
Hugs, Julia

I don't put the birdfeeder out until it's cold which is now! The birds must know because I've seen a few just hanging out wondering when it's going up! That's on my list for tomorrow. I think your rugs are wonderful and I'm glad you have a shelf of wool to make you happy! I think that movie is hilarious too and I also love watching all the really old Christmas movies that will be on TCM channel soon. We had snow that actually stuck to the ground but is almost all gone now. The temps are really cold but this next week is a little warm up. Have a good week Cathy!

We watch a lot of football in this house, so I am no stranger to a bit of yelling. 🥴 I love the rugs! It would be fun to see more of them. I am back to feeding the birds, but haven’t yet seen my favorite lpair of sweet little house finches. Mary @ Hilltop Post

We had a couple of very cold windy days too, happily we'll be back to more normal temperatures this week. It stinks for the charities, but I'm sort of glad the charity quilt sale for Friday/Saturday (when it was coldest and windiest) was canceled last minute.
I wonder, maybe cutting the calendar pages into bird shapes would help? Or it may simply take a couple of days before the birds decide the pages aren't going to eat them.
Mmmmmm, your wool looks luscious. Nope, I'm not getting into rug hooking too. I. Must. Resist! But yummmy wool....

Your rugs are absolutely charming, all of them. (But I especially love the pumpkin/crow or raven. Fabulous! Three cheer on the game!
