Houseguest

Sweet B is with her other grandparents, and we are stuck with guess who until her parents come home?

She misses them since Sweet B left. But she is getting lots of walks and lots of loving so this pound puppy will be just fine.

Bad picture but very excited to have the eastern bluebirds back. They were not here last year. This one is very territorial, so I am hoping for a nest nearby.

Week two for the germaniums coming along nicely even if the weather is not. We are in a cold dreary cycle of on and off rain. On the way through town yesterday we had hail it turned the ground white but quickly melted. and then there was an earthquake. I did not feel a thing, but I guess a lot of people did. It really is crazy all the way around, I guess.

The last of the crafting before she left. such fun.

So, Grammie was tired and missing her like crazy tonight. I know she is ours but what a wonderful person she is inside and out.

I know blogger isn't playing nice lately but when you leave a comment, if you think it didn't go through email me, please. I think some of you are getting a message something went wrong and I am not sure why, but it usually goes through.
I moderate all my comments as I get a fair amount of spam and I like to head it off before it hits the blog.
Thank you for all your comments I love opening up and seeing them.
Have a wonderful week!

I am sure the Grand dog is enjoying those walks with you. You and Sweet B always do such fun things together. What a team you are!

Germaniums remind me of my grandma. She LOVED them because they lasted forever in her garden.

I am thinking you are enjoying walks with the grand dog, great crafts you and Sweet B make together.
I haven't seen bluebirds that I can remember, they would be wonderful to have near by.
Loved seeing your geraniums Happy Thursday

I love the geraniums. So glad you got to spend some time with Sweet B. The crafts look like a lot of fun. Enjoy your walks with your granddog! See you again soon!

Yes Blogger is being cranky for sure. I experienced earth quakes when living in California and here on the east coast and felt them all. Perhaps if someone is driving in a car it would be difficult to feel.

It sounds like a very good time. We dog-sit for Kevin's dog when they are gone and while he always seems happy, gets lots of walks, he still whines a lot, begging for attention. Well done with your geraniums!

I'm impressed with Miss B.'s creations. She sure was a busy young lady while at your place. Poor puppy, but he knows that grandmas are to be shared. He'll perk up when you take him for a walk. I hope he's good company for you.

I've never seen an Eastern Bluebird in our area. They may come someday, I hope.

I get that warning that something is broken after I post a comment on your blog but I see that my comments always go through.

It's been damp and a bit wet, the sun comes out and then goes back behind the clouds. I'm looking forward to a good spell of fair weather.
Take care, hugs.

My comment went right through and appeared on your blog as soon as I published it this time.

I bet your house does feel a bit empty without Miss B....but at least having Sweet GD ("grand dog") makes the transition a bit smoother. Is she on spring break from school? Sweet little balls you two conjured up. Same weather here - sans the earthquake and except some of our rain has been snow. I have a feeling that when spring finally shows herself, it will be only a flash and then Summer will make her grand entrance. ~Robin~

I'm having Blogger problems too. I used to see comments in my email but that stopped this week. Tried to reset but to no avail so now have comment moderation back on since that means I get an email. Fewer comments coming through so wondering if people are being shut out from posting comments.

Leaves have burst out here in the Upper Valley but wish it were a bit warmer to work outside.

Ok got the error message. Will try it again.

Cathy, I totally missed your previous post. How fun to do crafts with Miss B! Her ideas were so cute and I'm sure she's missing you too! Her sweet pup reminds me of our son Jordan's dog Eddy. Eddy passed away maybe 5 yrs ago?? Anyway, it looks like a good score on the books and I remember when my kids were little and I never said no to a book request. We've had the same rainy pattern this week but today was finally nice so I mowed after getting out of work early. But tomorrow and the next few days are full speed ahead with rain. Have a good weekend Cathy!

Crazy weather in Ohio, too.
Oh the memories...and fun crafts...you have made with Sweet B.
Your granddog is a cutie.
Blogger...gggrrrrr. Not playing nice at all.

That photo with him looking out the window, so cute. It is hard, we want to spend time with the kids, as much as we can. I never even knew we had earthquakes until we had one, shook my house so bad, thought it was going to fall apart. We are on bedrock so sounds carry.

Our grand kids are the best for visiting but I have to say the grand dogs are right close behind. We have two that we love intensely. We don’t have pets and having to sit for them has been a blessing! Your geraniums look wonderful. You have amazing well lit window where they seem to be. I put mine, after planting yesterday, in a makeshift green house. Hoping they will do well. Time will tell! Enjoy the spring!

What a wonderful visit you had with both your sweet and creative granddaughter and the grand dog as well, Cathy. We no longer have any pet, but do have a grand dog who lives in PA with her family and we will be seeing them all later this month. As for blogger and comments, it seems many of us are hav ing issues. I never received comments via email but have been prevented from posting a comment (as you know) with the Whoops error message (???). As of this weekend, blogger was flagging legitimate comments (very short ones) from fellow bloggers as spam, yet NOT flagging actual SPAM!

WOW my comment actually got through this time, Cathy, after I received the Whoops message once again. I selected the Name/URL option and then entered my blog name and blog title and Yeah the above comment was published with no Whoops. THis might work for others as well.
