And Just Like That!

We left Florida at 80 degrees to land in NH to a raging snow storm..

The drive home was horrid!

I sm so very grateful for the time we had in the warmth but truly there is no place like home.

Ever be it so humble, there's no place like home.

At least you had a wonderful but brief break from your normal habitat.
I knew our weather was about to change and had a very restless sleep last night because of the winds and tornado warnings. Thank God I am safe but a tornado caused damage about 10 miles from me with houses torn apart, electric power lines down but thankfully no deaths. Am hoping for a better night's sleep tonight.

Wow, this white stuff is quite a contrast from the sunny beach in Florida. I'm glad you made it home safely. You're right, there's no place like home. I can't believe Easter is next Sunday. Time has gone so fast, it makes my head spin.

Welcome home.
Hugs,
Julia

Talk about location shock, eh? But, yes, being home always is a wonderful feeling no matter how enjoyable and beautiful the getaway. Good luck with all your scurrying and prep this week. Yikes, that's quite the crew you have coming! Happy Monday! ~Robin~

You did have quite a weather shock on returning home, Cathy. Glad you made it home safely because that snow while beautiful was most likely not fun to be traveling in especially after such a wonderful and warm getaway. I was wondering what day you had the snow as there was nothing in Nashua, NH, except for a tremendous morning of rain on Saturday and then lightning and thunderstorms in the evening.

Oh my what a change in the weather! And 34 for dinner - what a ball, I can hear the laughter along with snoozing after a wonderful meal. It sounds like a wonderful, good old-fashioned get-together...a perfect way to spend the day!

Did you know you are supposed to dye potatoes now for Easter and not eggs. More woke ideology.
So glad you made it home safe, but sorry to hear you landed during a snowstorm. Happy Easter! Janice

The only eggs we will be hiding for Easter will be the white ones. We are supposed to get 3 feet in the next two days. I would have loved a little of that Florida sun. Thanks for sharing.

Welcome home Cathy and I hope this is Mother Nature's last April Fools joke for the year! I hope it's melted by Easter as you certainly have a mob coming! I love Easter and will have a little mob of my own on Sunday. Yep, dinner, egg hunts and maybe some kite flying. Fingers crossed for both of us for the weather! Glad you had some sunshine and hopefully a tan to flaunt!

That's a lot of people. I would not have 34 people I know to invite over...lol.

That is a lot of snow, I guess you guys got it all. I do hear that we are getting a beautiful week ahead, so hoping your weather does the same. That is a lot of people, we just have the kids and I do a hunt for the boys.

We're praying for good weather, too, with our upcoming egg hunt and dinner. Yikes -- that's a rude homecoming. Glad you made it home safely.+
