Now Where Is My Needle????

Ok I am one messy creator. I did get an inspiration to get started, and I am jumping off from there. The finished piece will be shown next week, and I will post the others too.

We had a dusting of snow over night that made the drive into work extremely slick. But thankfully I made it in one piece. More snow coming in tonight and into most of the day tomorrow up to 12 inches. Winter is refusing to go out with a whimper.
I threw some ribs in the crockpot before I left for work, I just put a few seasonings on them and let it go all day. Since I had never cooked ribs that way before I had no idea what would happen, but wow were they good and I may go get another rack to put in the freezer while they are still on sale.

My aunt and uncle are getting better every day. They got the goodie box and it raised their spirits.  I am sure they will get to go on their vacation.

Have a great rest of your week and stay safe from any of the storms.
We are tucked in and ready!

Good evening, Oh that is good news about your aunt and uncle. wow a winter storm-here we are enjoying spring like weather this week-hope it lasts awhile longer. we have gotten ice as late as May here though-I think the rolling hills and hollars messes with the weather like it does in the mountains.
anxious to see the reveal the witch? I liked that one.
stay warm and cozy hugs

You are sure going to make your stitchy project quickly. I would just be thinking about it next week.
We got rain. Lots and lots of rain today but thankfully rain doesn't need to be shoveled. I hope your weather guessers are wrong.

Yeah heard you guys will have more snow...good for the economy, right?
When you read my blog you'll see tomorrow will be warm for us but will plummet and perhaps get some snow but surely cold temps. So I'll be having soup on the menu for sure.

We had 17 inches of snow here in our area since last night. The mountains got 2-3 feet just today. Big storm - probably headed your way. Those ribs sound really good. Enjoy the rest of the week!

Oh my goodness you are having more snow and we are near 80. Unseasonably warm - too warm.
Good idea to cook and have dinner when you get home - sounds good.

Oh ribs! I love them and have never used the crock pot for them but I will now! We're going to be around 70 today and then maybe 30 tomorrow. No snow that I know of. It's just been a crazy winter here in Ohio. I'm not complaining but it makes me nervous that March may come in like a lion! Ha! I'll look forward to your inspiration with that project. Stay safe and warm!

I do that too in the crock pot. Then sometimes, I take them and put them on a pan under the broiler with BBQ sauce to get some crust on them. I'm a messy creator as well!

Our weather systems of been running on parallel paths of late it seems...We got about 12" of snow since last night and it's still snowing. And horrible winds are making for nasty drifts. I haven't even attempted to get out my front door. I hope you don't have to go into work. I am sure your ribs are likely different, but I love putting the country style pork ribs in the crock pot with sauerkraut... Sooo good even though I'm not a sauerkraut eater LOL. Can't wait to see your project...Like Lauren, I would still be pondering what to do. ~Robin~

I'm glad your aunt and uncle are getting better and will probably be well enough for their trip.

We are getting some snow for Friday but it's cold and damp today with an overcast sky.
Daffodils are poking out again this winter in the back of the house in a sheltered corner.

Looking forward to seeing your fabric project.
Hugs,
Julia

I always put my ribs in the slow cooker in the Summer. then finish them off on the grill with sauce. So yummy and they fall off the bone. We had a bad ice storm yesterday and lots of folks lost power. we were fortunate as all around us there were outages. Glad you made it to work safely. Janice

We actually got snow today, enough to cover the ground. I am sure the local ski slope is happy to get the real stuff.
Glad to hear that your aunt and uncle are doing better, and hopefully feel good enough to enjoy their trip.
