Rock and Roll

It's the week before Easter and a busy week is ahead.

I have hooked some this past week.

I am happy with my grasshopper. My rug is coming slowly but surely.

I am very excited my germanium is starting to bloom! remember it started out as sticks just a few short weeks ago!
***
Thursday night we are headed to school to see sweet B in the talent show at her school. She will play the clarinet! We have not seen them in weeks because of one thing or another.
Then! Friday my daughter and I are going to see...

That is the music of my high school years. Granted it is 50 years later and some of them are gone now but to share an evening with my daughter enjoying their music is so special to me.
And then a family Easter. My son in law and daughter are hosting with help from us. I am so looking forward to this crazy busy week.

I had more traffic to my blog than ever last week I guess all I had to mention is the dump lol.
Have a great week.

Yes, a busy week. I do the dinner so meal is being planned and I got goodies for the egg hunt, so I will take a few days to do my thing and then buckle down for the weekend. It is wonderful you can go to her recital, the boys are not into extra activities but Nick is getting his first communion this year. Love how your rug is coming along, looks like a fun one to hook.

It sounds like a fun week. Wow!! Three Dog Night! I loved them. I love that rug, your grasshopper looks so great. How nice you have flowers. I think it would be fun to go to a talent show to see my grands. Have a lovely Easter.

I love your rugs! You do such a nice job. Easter is my favorite Holiday. Yes I know that Halloween is a favorite too but Easter is so special. We're celebrating with family on the 24th as it's Greek Easter..even though I'm not orthodox. But with kids on spring break and all it's nice to have everyone here to celebrate. I know you'll have fun with your family and I hope your week is great!

Your grasshopper is fantastic!! Each of these critters is its own work of art. I can't believe your geranium is blooming already! Wowsers...that is practically faster than buying one at the greenhouse. I so have to remember this trick this fall...what an added boost to have a head start and see green growing things before the plants are even put up for sale at the stores. And GAH!! Three Dog Night??!!! I am SOOO jealous!!! They were one of my all-time favorites and I have been known to still play them LOL. "Pieces of April" will always be on my playlist rotation. Sounds like you have a fun, albeit busy, week ahead! Me too, but not nearly as fun as yours. ~Robin~

Wow on that Geranium blooming already. You're getting more blooms for your buck. I've never saved my Geraniums from year to year. Maybe I should try that trick.

I think you're doing a fantastic job on your rug. It looks like a fun rug to work on.

I haven't heard Three Dog Night in a very long time. I hope that you'll have a great time watching Miss B.'s performance.

Enjoy,
Hugs, Julia

Your rug is looking great! I have had more traffic to my blog as well - only it is the unwanted kind - ads in comments...etc.
