My irises are doing well.
The weather has been so wonderful 80s and no humidity.
And the nights cool down to the 40s and 50s just perfect.
I swear this is the last lady slippers picture (for this year). This clump was tucked between a tree and a stone wall.
I found it on my walk. Plain but pretty.
Husband got a new prescription and this was the paperwork that came with it printing on both sides wow!

I have been doing the same thing gardening and cleaning.
The upstairs is all painted now for the porch yahooo!!!
Have a great week.

Happy one year retirement anniversary. I told that you would be busier than ever and loving it.

I've loved every second of my retirement for the last almost 3 decades. My Iris bloomed and left and some didn't provide blooms this year so knew it was time to separate which I did yesterday. Today I planted half of them back and spread them out where the pond was. More to go and more plants to divide. So much for one person to do and I'll do what I can when I can. Still have the back deck to wash and seal. Hopefully I'll be able to start and finish that but if not will have to call in the professionals to do it for me.
Happy year! You must have been ready. It looks as if your husband should get college credit for studying that rx insert.
Wow...it doesn't somehow seem like a whole year already...but Happy Anniversary. I think we can attest that you are making the very best of it! ~Robin~
That year did certainly go by fast, Cathy, and wasn’t it wonderful? Happy 1st retirement anniversary🎉
So glad you’re having fun - it shows! Yay! And wow on the prescription paperwork - too many words for me.
So glad you enjoying some lovely weather. You are staying busy. Happy first anniversary on your retirement. Have a great week!
Happy one year anniversary! Wow, didn't that year fly by? I'm sure you wonder how you ever had time for work when you keep so busy since retiring. I'm still working a few days a week and as summer is coming on I feel like it's hard to keep up with home and gardening. It's been a bit slow at the hospital but as vacation time comes around I'll probably be asked to work more. I'm thinking this may be the last summer I do this...time will tell! Yes, we've had lovely weather too and I hope yours keeps nice and that porch gets done. I love your porch and can't wait to see it all up and decorated for the season!
Happy one year retirement - I think you have used your time wisely!
We are enjoying the lovely weather here too. Yesterday we took a drive to Strafford, VT then north on Rt 5 as far as Bradford where we ate at the Little Grill looking over the Waits River. It was a nice day.
Happy One Year Retirement Anniversary, Cathy. Boy, that went fast and you have been busy having fun. Now on to year two and more fun...
Enjoy the summer weather.
Hugs, Julia

Do they really expect people to read that?? First you would need a magnifying glass.

I don't mind more pictures of Lady Slippers. They are so gorgeous💗💗💗.
Happy First anniversary since you retired. Isn't it a great life?
Funny thing.... two jobs ago, while working in a pharmaceutical printing facility, it was my responsibility to proofread those Patient Information Sheets that go with the pill bottles... it's probably the main reason why I need glasses now! lol!
