Friends Who Can Sing

We gathered last night to hear our sweet friend sing. What a lovely evening.

This was what I brought for a snack. A walking Charticuire cup. They were a hit!

The porch will be finished  tomorrow.
I spent part of the day sewing the cover for the cushion. I do not enjoy sewing and there may have been some bad words said but I got a good start on it.

Today was one of those beautiful days you want to last forever. I took a nice long walk and worked in garden a bit then I sewed this afternoon.
Motocycle week here the traffic is getting crazy. Have a great weekend.

What fun to hear your friend sing. I couldn't carry a tune if my life depended on it...sigh.
Such a wonderful deck!!! You are so lucky.

I always wished I could sing but, like Sissy above, I couldn't carry a tune in a bucket. We have a friend who was in a band who is an amazing musician....he actually played at my husband's wake it was wonderful. Your cushion turned out beautifully! I used to sew a lot - even sewed formals for people but those days are long, long. gone. Guess my confidence is a large part of it. ~Robin~

Have a great weekend!
I like the snacks in a cup. That is a great idea.

The charcuterie in a cup was a fun snak idea, Cathy. Nothing beats an outdoor concert in summer time. The porch cushion looks like it will be a nice touch to your porch seating.

Motorcycles! Yes, they make it down to us. They have to visit the Cornish-Windsor Bridge of course.

I have two nephews that are taking a trip on their motorcycles this weekend. I wonder if they're coming out your way. (Their names are Eric and Justin. On the tiny chance that you see a couple of Manitoba young fellows!!!

It would be a tiny chance they think 300 thousand are here.
Thanks for the visit

Looks like a fun time! I love that concerts are going on everywhere and our concert series goes on every Thursday and Sunday at the park and it's always free. Your porch is looking good and I can't wait to see the finished project. I love that material and I know it will look awesome. We've had some nice weather too and I'm really not looking forward to the next two weeks that will have hot and humid in the forecast. Have a good weekend. I really need to go blog..it's been a bit since I did!

Sounds like a nice concert with friends and your travel cup is a great way to bring a snack. Your porch is looking nice and even if you hate to sew, your cover is beautiful. I always love seeing your great finds.

How sweet to watch your friend sing. I actually made those snacks once for a party on the skewers. Everyone loved them. However I did mine to be more of an antipasto bites with hard salami, tomatoes and fresh mozzarella. Your porch is coming along. Hopefully it will be done soon for you. We are going to have some horrible heat coming in starting tomorrow. Inside weather for us, including Tundra. Janice

I might have to make charcuterie on a stick for my next Cork Poppers gathering. It sounds like a very fun evening!
