Peace

There was a light dusting of snow this morning then some sleet but nothing stuck.
We are decorated and tucked in

We stopped buying for each other a couple of years ago,it just made sense.

Husband is getting better very slowly. I would recommend that RSV vaccine this has been worse than covid. I have had time in my wool room so I have been busy knitting. But I need to get a rug started soon.

This past week has been stressful and Christmas eve is not what we planned. I have tried to walk when I can it helps to bring peace. So that is what I am wishing for all of you tonight, peace. We are all dealing with life in one way or another.
May you find true peace.

I hope he feels better soon, not what you had in mind for Christmas. I wish you peace and quiet and rest and feeling better. And a good New Year.

Peace and Merry Christmas to you as well, my friend. I am glad that your husband is getting better, even if it is slowly. I hope that he continues to improve and that the new year brings you peace and encouragement. See you again soon.

I hope your husband feels better soon. I will look for that vaccine. I don’t think it is available here yet.

Peace to you!

Sorry your husband isn't doing well and feels worse than covid. Hope he recovers back to his normal self quickly.
I used to be a knitter and not long ago picked up what had been the beginning of a shawl but my arthritic fingers just don't do what they used to with the purl stitch so put the hook back in my hand.
Merry Christmas and healing wishes for hubby.

Amen...and Merry, Peaceful, Christmas to you Cathy. No, this Christmas hasn't been what several of us had planned but it is Christmas, and it is here. Prayers that your husband continues to recover and strengthen and that your stressors lessen. ~Robin~

Many are sick here too. My son Phil is really ill and it's probably Covid. No Christmas for him this year. As my oldest was leaving today he said he suddenly felt really sick. My son in Oregon has the crud too. I just hope we don't get it but time will tell. Praying for your hubby to get well and I hope Peace does find you and you can celebrate the new year on a good note. Merry Christmas Cathy and peace to you!

I'm sorry your Christmas has been rather disappointing. I hope your husband is on the mend and that you stay well. I wish you the blessing of peace and health. GM

Thank you, Cathy, for the Christmas wish of Peace. It has been a peaceful day here, a very low-key celebration but we had the traditional Turkey dinner with all the trimmings with just my son, husband, and I. My daughter caught Covid but was better by Christmas.

I wish you all good health, love, peace, joy, and hope throughout the new year.
I hope that your husband feels stronger with every passing day.

Hugs, Julia

I agree...Christmas can be so full of joy, but also a stressful time. For all those looking forward to it, there are just as many who find it a difficult time. The walks sound like such a good idea...I'll learn from you and do that myself on those days that feel like a challenge. Here's hoping next year will bring health, smiles, and peace of mind with each new day.

Hi Cathy. Glad Hubby is slowly getting better. Here's to better and better each day. I am sorry holidays were stresful. Not fun for that.

Have you read Thich Nhat Hanh's, Being Peace?

It's a good read.
