A Fun Busy

My brother sent me this sweet snow globe. It has batteries so you don't have to shake it for it to snow.

Friday I headed to my daughter's to stay overnight with Sweet B while they went away. Our craft project was little mushrooms made from acorn caps. Such a fun project. And we attended a play of Charlie Brown's Christmas. There were some of my grands schoolmates in the cast.
It was well done and sweet.

I am trying to winter over a plant I was given when I retired. So far so good.

I am party central I have 14 women coming for appetizers tomorrow night. So excited to have them here. I was given some bananas that needed attention. So I baked banana bread. Chai flavored banana bread. It came out so good!

This is from king Arthur flour yum

Was you granddaughter in the play too? Am sure you enjoyed your time together.
I love banana nut bread but haven't made that in many years. Perhaps I need to treat myself and am sure my son would love it if I made an extra loaf for him.

I am going to have to try chai banana bread. You are busy watching little ones, going to plays and hosting parties. I have two hibiscus plants. They are one of my favorites. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

Recently I started drinking Gingerbread Oatmilk Chais and they are sooooo good. For sure I can see the banana bread being yummy. Love that. Love that you don't have to shake the globe too. Those are cool.

You always come up with some tasty recipes. I'm still making that pumpkin bread recipe you gave me. It's always a big hit with crowds and it's a keeper. I love banana bread too. Maybe, you'll share your recipe with us.

School plays were always so much fun when my kids went to school.

That's one plant I never tried to grow.

It's raining here too and the snow is melting.
Take care, hugs.

Looks like you are busy but having lots of fun. We are getting more rain than snow here this winter too, but the mountains have several feet of snow. So glad you had a good week spending time with your granddaughter. The play looks like a lot of fun and the banana bread looks delicious! Good for you for keeping your plant alive. Have a good week. See you again soon!

Must be the season for banana bread. Read Vicki Lane's blog about making it with granddaughter and I've made it recently with mine.

The snow globe from your brother looks a lot like the "lantern" that I got last week when Sheila and I went to that cute Christmas store. I have mine plugged in on the kitchen counter and I thought it was malfunctioning when it suddenly went to off. Seems it goes off automatically after a couple of hours.
Banana bread is always a big hit. Everyone seems to like it. Chai flavoured sounds interesting.

What a wonderful snow globe gift and with no shaking action required...perfect! Nice to see a play and sadly none of our grands have performed in any of those, so glad to read that you enjoyed the one you attended, Cathy.
