A Wooly Road Trip

The sunsets have been glorouis. The days slip away so fast here.

We took one morning and headed an hour south to Searsport Rug Hooking.

Very friendly and colorful

Husband was with me nudging me on to buy what I wanted.
So I purchased beautiful Siesta Key colors. I have a project in mind. My husband was so into helping me get just the right colors. So out of his wheel house lol. I left plenty of my money there.
And we went to lunch.

Today the fluffy white clouds rolled in.
Looked like fluffy marshmallow.
We spent the day on the beach today again just a beautiful day!
We leave early Friday to fly home. While I am ready to go home I will miss the warmth and sunshine.

I'm so glad you are having such a great time and that wool looks amazing. You'll be the envy of rug hookers. It looks like you got a beautiful tan from all the time in the sun. Take care and have a smooth flight home.
Hugs,
Julia

Well you really have had an amazing time. Getting wool is really an icing on the cake, Bravo! I also see one of those hot pink nails in that beautiful colored sand! Wow!

Look at that tan! Look at the white sand and beautiful clouds. I would miss that too although I have no desire to live in Florida. A wonderful get-a-way though! I hope to do the same next year. Sort of planning a trip with my sister for January. So enjoy your final day there and come home safe! Don't forget a little something for Miss B!

You are on vacation-no worries about commenting-hugs
wow I have never seen a rug hooking store before-that must have been amazing to browse around in. My Mom did allot of rug hooking back in the 50's and early '60s she made amazing pieces-she followed some one from the east coast that was pretty big back then for how to shade flowers and leaves etc.
enjoy the warmth and sunshine. friday we have violent weather coming in here.

What an awesome wool store. I would be broke if I stepped in there. Would love to shop there. Wonderful colors you picked and look forward to seeing what you hook with those colors. Those clouds are fluffy indeed! Hope you have a safe trip back and enjoy the sunshine while you can. Janice

What a fun road trip! I think you and your "color consultant" chose wonderful key colors and I'm anxious to see what you have planned for them. Safe travels home - we are under a winter storm warning again Friday into Saturday. 7-10" of that white stuff (and I am not talking about marshmallow clouds). Soak up some extra sunshine for me. ~Robin~
