Time Spent With A Friend.

Happy December!

A little bit of Christmas is starting to show up at the house.
My favorite thing is to put up my little paper village.

A Christmas cup for morning coffee.

Speaking of morning coffee this squirrel was at least 2 1/2 stories high on this metal flagpole. I am not sure what he was looking for, but it wasn't up the flagpole.

I made cookies for a fundraiser cookie walk this weekend.
I will not be able to attend as I am headed to Maine with my dear friend for our annual Christmas in Kennebunkport. It is so nice to spend time at the beach this time of year. So very different from the crowds of summer.
Have a wonderful weekend

I love that little poem! It perfectly describes November and now it's December and the rush begins but I'm getting the shopping done pretty quickly and slowly decorating the house. I got rid of lots of decorations this past year so I'm hoping to keep it simple to put up and then take down. I want to take time to truly enjoy the season and not forget the spiritual side of it. Have a good weekend Cathy!

I love your little paper village. It's so cute. It evokes memories of my childhood with those little paper houses we hung on the tree.

Your tea and cookies look inviting. Is that your little friend on that flag pole?
Stay warm and cozy.
Hugs,
Julia

Not sure if your text is missing? Saw photos but no words, just at the first one.
I am still working on getting all my things. up, but getting there.

I love the poem. I am definitely looking forward to cozy days in front of the fire. Your paper village is delightful, and the cookies make me hungry. Happy December!

How nice you are going on your annual trip to Kennebunkport. I have never ever been to New England and that area.
Love your Christmas Village.
It is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

It sounds wonderful to be able to get away with a friend. And to the beach.
I bet it is really different in the winter.
I hope you have a wonderful time.

Happy December, Cathy.
I thought it was a cup of tea but now I see it's a cup of morning coffee.
I hope that you have a great time at the beach with your friend.

Take care and stay warm and well.
Hugs,
Julia
