I did get my rug hooked and bound.
Husband had his back surgery on Tuesday. I am managing pain and getting him moving a bit. And now we wait up to 3 months to see if it has worked. He is spending some of his time doing a puzzle and resting.

My son has had back surgery a few years ago due to a work injury. It is a long recovery I understand. I've never had back surgery but definitely have my share of pain due arthritis, scoliosis and degenerative disc disease. No way I'd look forward to any sort of surgery in my 8th decade.

Great photo of the fog and the lake! Yes...show us the rug! That was an ambitious sampler and you really did accomplish a lot nonetheless. Paryers that hubby's surgery was a success and that the recovery isn't too awful.
The first picture ( with the fog) looks spooky enough for a Halloween photo!

I've heard from others who have had that surgery that it helps and when it doesn't it's partly due to not following the rehab regime. I hope it works for your husband. Happy Halloween. Do you get trick or treaters there? We get lots!
