Friday was our 50th anniversary.

The colors are at peak. We have been so dry and hot they are just not the same this year.
Friday husband and I took a ride...
It is so pretty here any time of year but in the fall glorious.
We went to a local coffee shop and out to a fancy dinner.
Sat daughter and family came we went to lunch and dinner.
We had time to together which is what we wanted. The weather was perfect. It was a lovely anniversary. I do wonder though how 50 years can slip by so quickly?

[By the way - I enjoy seeing your photos but I've noticed that your blog photos are very small. Have you thought about increasing the width of your blog so your pictures can appear larger? You can also increase photo size when you edit by clicking on the photo and choosing a larger size. Just a suggestion.]
I'm so glad you had time with your daughter, which had to be a special treat. And I love the flowers. Our color here is duller this year too. We came north last night and it's a bit more colorful so I'm hoping we'll see a bit more. Happy Anniversary (again!)

In June our anniversary was 43 years Same here with the draught our leaves have very little colors this year
Happy Happy Anniversary! Congrats on 50yrs together and I wish you many more! I'm glad you had a nice time with family. Ours was last year and we had a party but with just our immediate family. Everyone wanted a big blowout and we said no. Having time with family is much more fun and less stressful. I love the wedding photo, So darn cute and you are right...time has a way of flying by! Our fall colors aren't great this year. Many trees haven't even turned yet and many are just brown. The drought and warm fall hasn't been good for us. Thankfully today rain has come! Cool temps are coming too. I hope the rest of your week is good!

We have had such awful winds here that whatever leaves we had turning colors have been stripped and sent packing.
happy anniversary....50 years, wow!! to me, you celebrated in the perfect way!! everytime we go out, i see massive halloween decoration, it's big here. our trees have yet to begin changing. i am enjoying all of the halloween decorations!! we are expecting a big storm for the next few days!! i love a "good" storm. we went from a/c to having the heat on in one day!!
