Snow! Snow! Snow!

I just made it home from Yoga on Monday before the flakes started flying.

5 inches at the end of it. Ugg just when things were melting so nicely.
More coming in Saturday. Welcome to March.

You will get sick of my watercolors lol. But I enjoy it.

Rug hooking today, more progress. This is one horribly drawn pattern, but I will keep going and get out my marker and change some things.

Last night we met family for dinner before this cutie's
band concert. It was nice to see everyone and to see her play her clarinet.

After hooking today, I took my sweet friend out for her birthday.
We agreed our numbers are getting bigger we still have spunk.
We shared dinner, a bottle of wine, and a free shot of limoncello.
No getting these old gals down lol.
Have a wonderful week!!!

so sorry you are getting more winter-that would be depressing. I love seeing your watercolors-you are much better than I was.
wishing for spring weather for your area

Oh so glad that white stuff didn't drop here. Although it will get down to 32 tonight so the propane heat will kick in for sure. Spring is here, I guess, because there are buds on trees, forsythia has yellow blooms and most all the daffodils have bloomed all around the yard.
Yeah, I'm totally aware of the higher number for me each year but I'll keep plugging along as long as the man upstairs decides to keep me here.

Good thing you got home before all the snow. Sadly there's more on the way!!!
Hopefully it will not stick around long.

We’ve had a week of snow off and on. Again today. We both need to be done with it now. Winter feels endless.

I hope your snow melts quickly. I love the pinks in your rug- so pretty! Your watercolor would make a pretty card.

That's your newest painting? Boy, you've come a long way in a very short time. I like it a LOT! Snow -- make it stop!!!

Well, you know how I feel about the white stuff. 16+" in less than 5 days is 16+" too much. And we too are expecting more significant snow this weekend. :-( You really are doing well with the watercolors! I have always loved the diaphanous nature of watercolor. Your rug is looking great too - but I can empathize with a poorly drawn pattern. I'm struggling with one now myself. Miss B looks fabulous in that "shout out" shot! The birthday celebration sounds like fun. Wish I could have joined in - my b-day was last Friday. ;-) Stay warm and cozy.

Sounds like a good time. I also loved the normal. That's a good one.

We are supposed to get more rain/snow over the weekend and into next week. That's spring in the Rocky Mountain West where I live. That's a very cute picture of Sweet B. Birthday lunch with your friends sounds fun. I hope you have a good weekend! See you again soon!

That Monday snow has disappeared but as you said more is forecast. We had to change our plans to meet friends for dinner because there's a mountain that separates up and steep roads to travel to go to and from.

I really feel your pain! You guys have had a hard winter. We have friends in Maine and they are over it too! I hope our warmer temps head your way and that white stuff is gone soon. Your painting and hooking make you a crafty gal. Love it! I'm glad you could celebrate with your friend and enjoy a fun time. Have a good weekend, even with the not so good weather.

Thank goodness, we are not getting snow, but there have been some flurries and the threat of possible freezing rain on Sunday. Glad you made it home safely. The watercolors make it seem that Spring will be arriving soon.
