My forsythia branches after all this time has one little bloom. But I have hope♡
With all the rain, fog, and warmer weather the snow is melting and left this spot that looks like a crow to me.
I made the trip to my sweet friend's rug hooking group. She has quite a group there and I got a lovely warm welcome.
After we went to dinner and spent the evening catching up, laughing, and we even painted a bit.
We had such a wonderful time even thought it was just an overnight.
While stopped in traffic I took a picture of this house that was ocean front. It has been up there for a year from the horrid storms we had last winter( not this one)
This quote touched my heart so true for me.

The last day of winter and snow in the forecast for Friday.
Have a wonderful week!

Spring is in full bloom here in Virginia. It is heading your way! Your visit and friends sleepover sounds perfect.
So happy you got away to hook, even though only an overnight.
That melted snow spot does look like a crow!
So glad we are easing in to spring and not winter.
I did latch hooks, is that the same thing? Today we were treating to a truly spring day. However, snow in spring is the norm for us as well.
I just loved that meme and felt it from the heart - I feel the same way - life and what we think about life changes as we age.
Our crocus bloomed today, no blooms on our forsythia yet. It's so nice to see! But we have snow predicted for the next 3 days!
My forsythia has blossoms on it and most of my daffodils have bloomed. Ah yes, the aging and rain in the forecast has both my knees hurting like crazy. Well, and the rest of the bones, lol.
The quote is perfect! It speaks volumes.
That IS a wonderful quote. I'm so glad you had time with your friend -- and good time, at that. And that DOES look like a crow! Happy week!
I agree about that quote, Kathy, and it seems you have been doing many of those things. The weekend with friends sounds like it was great fun. It's always fun to "see" images in everyday sights, like that crow!
Happy Spring Cathy! (Even though I was taught spring isn't technically until tomorrow....) Hope you are still melting. We had a great deal of our snow too and then yesterday got 6+ inches. At least it wasn't the 8-12" they predicted. Hopefully it will melt soon too although, other than tomorrow, we are only supposed to have highs in the 30's for the next week and then some. Glad you had a nice getaway. Sometimes short and sweet is best. You do look might comfy. That house is bizarre. It looks like it is really large to lift?
forsythia...the first true sign of spring. it's so nice to be part of woman's crafting group, i have made great friends that way!!!
A wonderful quote indeed. That did look like a crow. Robin must have enjoyed seeing that. We had rain, freezing rain and snow today. UGH Janice
I am glad you had a lovely visit with your friend. I wish I had Forsythia. Unfortunately, nothing grows in my soil...well, weeds grow but that's it.
Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.
Grace & Peace,
Pam
And so true for me too. I am writing it in my journal. Your little getaway sounds perfect.
I like that quote. Thanks for alerting me to the fact that I'd forgotten to include the word"cup" in my recipe. I usually proofread what I write but obviously I missed that one. LOL
A sweet quote...and Spring is Springing!
hugs
Donna
