Thanksgiving Eve

We can now see the sunrises with the leaves off  the trees and the position of the sun.

A friend of mine showed me her solar star lights she put on her outside tree. Well monkey see monkey do! I ordered a couple of strings. Well the first string got so tangled it took forever to untangle them. But I do love them.

And the 2nd set I put on a small tree we have. I learned a lesson about how to not tangle this string. But still not that easy to work with.

I also made a small batch focaccia bread. And boy did it come out good! Husband wants this tomorrow instead of rolls.
We are tucked in watching White Christmas tonight.
And speaking of white Christmas.....

We are waiting for snow tomorrow 5 to 9 inches.
We are home so no travel issues.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Hugs
Cathy

Snow...wow, I always wish it would snow here, but then when it does, I am not so happy about it after a day or so. Have a lovely week1!

Oh but that focaccia bread looked delicious. I'd probably sprinkle rosemary on mine before baking as I love the smell of it and used to rub my fingers along the plant.
No snow here yet but rain expected and COLD moving in.

Your lights are so pretty! So is the sunrise.
We're supposed to get a bunch of snow too. I'm not ready for that!

Happy Thanksgiving Cathy! It sounds like a perfect way to spend it...cozy, tucked in, a snowfall, Christmas movies, stress-free dinner, and nowhere you to which you have to worry about traveling...or worry about others traveling to and from you. Enjoy and soak it in! ~Robin~

I love your new outdoor lights. your bread looks delicious. Isn't it wonderful to view the sunrise? when we lived in the woods we could not see the moon or the sunrise or sunset do to all of the trees-I love those views here at the lake. Enjoy your Thanksgiving-with no snow travel worries-hugs

I agree with Robin – tucked in, curled up, warm and cozy – and a snow coming but no travel to worry about sounds absolutely perfect. The lights are so pretty, what’s the secret not tangling them?! I have some on copper wire that are so easy to tangle - pretty but I do become a little grouchy when it’s time to use them!

Perfect film to watch, Cathy, and we are in NJ with only rain. Glad you are safe at home and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

White Christmas is my all-time favorite. I say the lines along with them so I usually watch it alone! Sounds so cozy and lovely. (I got solar Christmas lights for outdoors last year. When we get enough sun, they're great. Unfortunately, we don't get a lot of sun from November to March! I hope get more than we do!

I'm glad that you had a stress-free Thanksgiving. We have been having a lot of rainy days this week and we woke up to a blanket of snow and a power outage this morning. I need to get some Christmas lights out too.

The Focaccia looks good.
Take care, hugs,
Julia

Happy Thanksgiving to you too! Your bread looks amazing and I don't envy the snowfall. We just got flakes in the air. Have a good start to December!
