All the leaves have blown away and the blustery cold has settled in.
Saturday a friend and I headed to a couple of church sales.
A Swedish angel candle.
An April Cornell dish towel.
A hand painted sign
And a candy turkey for sweet B.
I left so much behind I would have liked but I am really trying to not add things. And I dropped a bag off at the thrift store on the way by.
We are tucked in all toasty. We both are putting on pjs earlier and earlier these dark nights.

I've missed so many of your posts! I went back and caught up. I hope your hubby is feeling good now and I can see you've been busy decorating for Christmas. I don't decorate until after Thanksgiving because we have a gathering on turkey day and I want to wait until Christmas for them to see the decor. I have only a little bought for gifts but I know I will get it all done. With all the kids and grands it's hard to shop too early. I love your Christmas movie list. My favs are Christmas in Connecticut and Holiday Affair. I love those old flicks! Our little downtown theater is showing Christmas in Connecticut in a few weeks! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Again, some fun finds. Good on you for dropping a donation bag off at the same time. I've often tried to make myself get rid of something before bringing something new in...but my success rate in that regard is pretty pathetic. Love that candy turkey LOL. I never cease to be amazed by some people's creativity. It's turned winter here as well... I was surprised to see that we are supposed to get some accumulating snow tonight/tomorrow. Only 3", but after such a mild fall, it will feel like a pretty abrupt change. Stay cozy! ~Robin~
You found some fun things! That little turkey is so creative.
Bob was blowing leaves again yesterday and we are hoping that's the end of them.
We're putting on PJ's early too. It's dark so early!
We went from gorgeous weather to cold and windy in a matter of minutes. I think our beautiful fall is a thing of the past.
Love your hand painted sign. Perfect for Christmas.
Blogger and the no reply bloggers. ARGH! Why won't they fix it???
Good morning ,more great finds
Oh, it looks so cozy there! Love the finds!
hugs

Love that candy turkey. Our grandkids will love making those! Thank you for sharing.
I really love the Home for Christmas sign. It's perfect! Nice haul. Yes, time to cozy in!
Lucky you that all the leaves have blown away. I have more leaves lining the driveway and against the garage door openings so all the leaves in my part of the world are blown way in my yard. So soon I'll have more leaves to rake up and take away into other parts of the back yard. The ones I took there in the low areas are still there so that's not where my new leaves are from.
I like your new Christmas wall hanging.
Oh that Swedish Angel candle looks like a treasure, and I think the Home for Christmas sign is lovely. Winter is the time to get cozy.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
I have several handprinted signs on pieces of slate and all were thrift store or flea market finds. They are so much better than store-bought and yours is perfect for the season, Cathy. yes, we enjoy lounging in flannels and comfies at this time of year.
I agree 50 one day and then we hear down to 11 at night by Friday. Well I wanted an old fashioned winter, maybe I’ll get it! By the way, I love the Swedish angel candles – I remember my grandmother having one like that – I loved the sound. I’ll have to see if I can find one.
and just like that, it is the same here. sweet treasures!!
I just gave our Swedish candle chime to our youngest daughter last weekend. She was thrilled to have it- such special memories!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
