Burning bushes..
I didn't buy any pumpkins or mums this year but the neighbors did.
The sky is so blue and the temps are in the 70s
I am trying to enjoy every minute because we all know it will not last.
I have most of my gardens cut back and put to bed.
We have had frost but these zinnias are in a protected area.
I was going to pull them out but I couldn't do it with the bees and butterflies so happy to find flowers. I will have to cut them back later.
And my fairy roses are still going.
This is a picture of the northern lights we saw in Maine.
I had a dr's appointment last week and discussed my lack of remembering some words sometime. It really freaked me out.
while it doesn't happen all the time or even every week. But there is a word for it lol. I was also with my friends for 5 days and it happened to them now and then. So not too worried and my dr said to not read to much into it as I am not having any other issues.

Trees are so beautiful at this time of the year. I haven't seen many pumpkins around the neighbourhood; I have mine on the back porch where I enjoy seeing them. Have a good weekend💗.
Happens to me to, a tad more perhaps since I've aged. But don't worry about it because I know I could find my way off a stage and don't have any other symptoms. Yet I do freak out each annual visit when my doctor gives me the 'age' test asking a math question, giving me three words which I need to recall about 5 minutes or so later. The visit to her always makes my blood pressure go up just because I know she is going to ask those questions and what if I don't give her all the words.

I forget words sometimes too. I didn't know there was a word for that. :)
You've given us another word we won't be able to remember when we need it! I'm at the thesaurus stage, where I can think of several wrong but similar words when I hunt for the right one.

I experience the loss of a word periodically too. Frustrating!
I cannot remember things at times either, but I just call it old age. Did not realize it had a name. Who knew. We had frost too last week, but temps are going back to the 80's this week. Now I know Winter is coming. What a beautiful pic of the Northern Lights. I missed then once again. Janice
I too suffer from that malady. Often I end up with a word that sounds like the one I want.
Aren't the colours gorgeous right now? Ours are in peak performance here in Ontario. I did not buy any mums this year and only one big pumpkin. I wasn't hosting Thanksgiving, so didn't bother with decorating too much. I have found that I have a terrible time with remembering names (I'm 58), but as a retired teacher, I have a few thousand names floating around in my head. It worries me too. -Jenn
No recalling a word when you need to can be frustrating, Kathy, and it seems many of us are in the same situation from time to time. Thanks for sharing the word for this occurrence. We haven't taken a walk in our local park wince returning from our travels, but hopefully there will still be some color remaining.
Oh my goodness - I do that all the time too with words - no other signs tho. Glad to have a name for it.

Fall in New Hampshire ~ sadly the year we headed east we were just a bit too early, but maybe another time. For as dry as we have been all summer, I am pleasantly surprised at Ohio color.
Look on the up side: There wouldn't be a word for it if it didn't happen to others. I chalk it up to the fact that the older I get, the more words I've learned and the "internal storage capacity" in my head is maxing out LOL. Beautiful fall pics. I was worried we wouldn't have much color here - it has been so dry and so windy but, suddenly (last week or so?), fall just burst out all over. Great pic of the northern lights. I think as we age, we all lose some of our quickness in remembering things...I dn't let it worry me. I just take supplements and walk every day...it's helping.
