B.R.E.A.T.H.E.

Starting on Saturday the beautiful weather came in and it has been glorious. I got some walks in, and some yard work done. I could smell spring in the air!

I found some true may flowers. The scent is amazing for such a small flower.

My gardens are just starting.
I think I appreciate spring all the more because she was so slow in making her appearance.

It was vintage fair weekend a busy fun weekend and just before it started husband started coming down with a cold. Very long story short husband just got out of the hospital with pneumonia. He is responding well to the drugs and hopefully he will rest and not push himself to get to yard work to soon.
So, for now we both just need to Breathe.

Garden flowers are beautiful.
What a shock to read about your husband, wasn't expecting that but guess neither were the two of you. Glad he is responding well to meds and will back in fine form quickly,

I'm sorry to hear that David has been sick with pneumonia but glad that he's responding well to the medication. Wishing him a quick recovery. Yardwork can wait. Your flowers are beautiful.

Take care.
Hugs, Julia

Oh Cathy, I'm so sorry to hear your husband has been dealing with pneumonia. Having been there, I know how terrible it can be -- and how worrisome for the "healthy person" in the family. I'm glad he's on the way to recovery and responding well. Your garden is looking lovely -- I know what you mean about appreciating the blooms all the more after the wait.

The post title is very good advice for all of us, Cathy, and hopefully your husband, David, will take it easy to recuperate so he can then enjoy being outdoors. Hope that you will continue to enjoy being outdoors and going on walks. This is the best time of year, not too hot, and trees and plants finally starting to bloom.

I am sorry to hear that David has been hospitalized! Good time to take it easy and fully recover! Spring has been lovely here. Slow the pace for a bit, and enjoy it fully!

Poor hubby! I hope he is feeling much better and his brother (?) could sell his goods at the vintage fair.

Oh no.... So sorry to read about your husband, but glad to know he is on the mend and hope he's right as rain soon. Yes, spring is sneaking into Nod more slowly than other years. My daffodils have started blooming, but not the tulips yet. I just mixed up a batch of food for the humming birds as I saw my first. Enjoy the days...maybe spring was waiting until your retirement LOL. ~Robin~

I just read your previous post and this one and you do need to just breathe! I think you will love retirement with the nice weather coming and more time for walks. I hope your hubby is doing better and gets well soon. Enjoy the vintage fair. We have vendors market at our fair grounds this Saturday and I'm hoping to go. I'm also hoping to post something soon! I'm behind all my blog buddies with posts! Have a good weekend Cathy. Yes, I'm writing this pretty late. Just can't sleep tonight!

Oh I'm sorry! Hope he has a speedy recovery.
I like this "I'm enjoying Spring even more for it's late coming" (I'm stealing it ahaha).
