Not Just A Walk

A Walk around my neighborhood, I found lots of wildflowers,
yarrow

Wild foxglove

Daisys

I have no idea, but they are sweet.

I love the pop of red as you walk through the woods.

Not sure of this one either but great color. I have walked a lot in the past few days good for the soul.

And then there is her lol. I have "deer off" canisters everywhere and still she eats away. As I walked the neighborhood, I saw signs of her snacking at almost every house.  As you can see, she is very well fed.

She ate the middle right out of this this lovely  hosta grrrr

Husband caught Covid after all this time. He is vaccinated and boostered he has a very thick medical file, so I was still worried.
The first two days were not good at all, but he is getting better Thankfully. He did go to the Dr just to really get checked out for my peace of mind and his lungs are clear. But I have been in quarantine in my rug hooking room and spare bedroom, my hands are raw from the washing and alcohol.  So far so good for me
Of course, it came at the worst time. We were supposed to have sweet B for 3 whole days we had all kinds of plans and poof gone like that.  But it is what it is and that is why I walk and walk and walk.
Here is to a healthy summer!

I'm so sorry that your husband caught Covid but I'm glad his lungs are clear. I also feel bad that your plans with Miss B. had to be canceled, or maybe postponed for now.

Lovely wildflowers, the red ones almost look like petunias. I wonder if a bird planted the seeds.

Hang in there. Can you believe that we are almost at the end of June?

Take care and stay well.
Hugs,
Julia

Oh! I’m so sorry your husband has been ill with Covid! I remember that he has some special health concerns that make that thick medical file. Hopefully you will be able to reschedule with Miss B.

Ugh! Sorry Hubby has had to go through that. Your walk looks gorgeous! Those foxgloves are beautiful. Mine are still short and no bloom stocks.

oh no so sorry your husband got covid. I am thankful neither of us have got it so far. it would not go well for Larry if he got it so we try to be careful. but it is always possible and a concern.
I enjoyed all the pretty flowers

Sorry about covid I've had 2 shots plus booster and don't plan to have another vaccination. Cindy Irwin had 3 shots and still got Covid twice. She now has long-covid and still has residual issues from it.

I am so sorry to hear your family is experiencing Covid and I hope you stay well and safe. Rick had a rough time too, despite vaxes but is on the mend. Expect being tired to hang on for a bit, though. At least you have lots of hooking you can do!

In my opinion walking is good medicine for whatever ails one. You have some beautiful wildflowers to pretty up your trails. I especially love the foxgloves.

What beautiful wild flowers.... Foxglove - domesticated or wild - have always been a favorite of mine. I've always dreamed of growing those huge, huge, ones...but, sigh...THAT isn't happening in Nod. Sorry to read about your husband...prayers and hopes for a speedy recovery. Hopefully you are not having the crushing humidity we are experiencing. I can't imagine trying to breathe with a respiratory problem. I also hope you will be able to reschedule with Miss B....it is still summer vacation. But I would plead for an extra day given the "unfortunate circumstances not of your doing." 😉 ~Robin~

Oh no! I'm so sorry your hubby is ill with Covid and you both are in my prayers. I hope recovers well. I'm glad he was vaccinated. That is the difference between being sick with it and being hospitalized or worse. Still, I understand knowing he has other health concerns how worried you must be. I hope you stay free and healthy. Your walk was lovely and I smiled at the wild foxglove since I have tried many times to grow foxglove and it never comes back! I'm sure Miss B was as disappointed as you both were but in a few weeks hopefully another visit can be arranged. Have a good weekend!

So sorry to hear about hubby. I hope he is on the mend and feeling good...and you have not caught it!!!
Hopefully, even with Miss B's crazy schedule, you can sneak in a day or two with her.
Lovely wildflowers!

Hope hubby is feeling better. So sorry to hear your plans with sweet B were cancelled. My mom has deer in her yard that eat lots of her flowers. I never knew yarrow came in white. Such pretty flowers for sure! Janice
