My brother visited from Mississippi and we indulged in clams and lobster several times.
My brother is 13 years younger than I am but is having mysterious health issues. I do hope he gets to the bottom of them as they are getting bad. He has numbness in his legs and feet and they have no idea why. He has had all the tests and still nothing. My heart breaks for him....
I also did not take many pictures so not much to share.
We had a tree company come in and take down 4 huge oaks that were growing out of one trunk. After they were down we saw the rot in the trunk of the one leaning over the house. But it kills my heart to see them gone. We also had our house painted and trex decking on the back deck. It all needed to be done but oh my acing check book.
I am working some extra days in the next week not that I love it but I am headed to Star Island in a week and a half for some R and R.
Have a great week!

I had lobster last week and froze the rest for a yummy seafood chowder this week. My daughter brought some from PEI on their way back. Those calms also is getting my mouth watering.
You have been busy. We also need our deck replaced. The exterior of the house and shed has been neglected in our busyness. We talked about it last year but so far, nothing has been done. My husband has been busier than when he was milking cows.
I'd love to see your deck and how it was finished.
I hope that your brother can find out what the problem is with his legs.
Hugs, Julia
It is very expensive to have trees cut down. I'm looking at having gutters replaced and very soon after will be a new roof. Unlike you I don't have a job that I can work overtime on to replenish the bank account.
Your brother is far too young to have an undiagnosed illness. Hopefully he will get some answers soon. I will keep him in my prayers.
Lobster ~ YUM! Not so much on the clams :)
I know it broke my heart to have to have my huge maple tree cut down last year, but with the next big wind there was a good chance it was going to fall on my neighbor's house. Better to be safe than sorry.
I, too, have much that needs to be done both inside and outside. Finding someone reputable to do it is a daunting task. Congrats on getting your things done.
Hope they find out what is wrong with your brother. Food you had sounds YUMMY. Hope you have fun on the island. I took my grands to our local island today for lunch. It was nice with the island breezes blowing. Janice
Home repairs and upgrades sure can be expensive. We replaced our roof, then new AC/HVAC and now we're checking on new windows. I want to get as much done before I retire and it does make the old checkbook cry. Trex will be great on your deck and it will last forever! I do hope your brother can find out what's going on. Health issues are scary and also costly. With all the modern technology we have it's hard to believe it takes forever to figure some things out. Enjoy that upcoming vacation!
