Beach Time Continues

After Star Island I spent a couple of days with my sweet friend at the beach. 

I am blessed with wonderful friends and time at the ocean.

We spent a day thrifting and I got a lot of fun things. My favorite is this 1939 cookbook. Tucked between the pages are hand written recipes and newspaper clippings with recipes. 

Fall is closing in fast I have spent the past few days cutting back my gardens. 

By the end of the day I have a hot shower and achy muscles.

It feels good to get it done before the real cold air comes in. 

We got our first  delivery of heating oil. All I can say is GULP! Thankful for the wood stove.

Homemade bread and tomato soup on this rainy day. Go Patriots!
