The 80's

True!

My dump haul. I have made a christmas shade out of christmas cards before and this frame is exactly what I need to make another one. A new roll of shelf liner yes please, and book of short stories perfect.
The one perk of having to go to the dump while husband is getting better.

Yes the 80s are back with my leg warmers. I walked a bit this morning and they were perfect. I love them, I am now old and quirky so I no one cares what I wear lol.

Still working on this rug! I am at the fiddly part and I am over it, I want to move on but I will continue and finish.

Husband has finished the bluebird puzzle and has moved on to a snow scene yikes makes me dizzy to just look at it.

It is cold with a windchill factor so I am tucked into my rug room watching a bit of football and hooking.
***
Husband has a Dr's appointment this week, other than that
we are sticking close to home. NH has a high rate of upper respiratory infections, better safe than sorry.
****
have a wonderful week.

P.S. We are back to no reply emails and I can not follow any new blogs I am so frustrated with this!!! So please forgive me if I do not get back to you.

Your hooked rug has been adorable all along the way. But I understand that dratted narrow cut hooking and the boredom with a rug which takes too long to hook.
You can do what I do ... copy and paste the comment from your blog into a new email. Most of us who comment you already have us in your contacts file.

Yes…those are great luxuries of life!
Please keep hubby away from germs!!!
All my comments say they are from no reply bloggers…but if you hit reply, their email address shows up…unless they are true no reply commenters. I hope that makes sense to you.

I am happy to see how many of those luxuries I have. Great reminder.

Hooked rug is looking good. You always find some great goodies at the dump. When you get older like I am, fashion does not matter anymore. Janice

Love the luxuries....very true. Like Lauren says, you can hit reply on the email notification you get (provided you still get one) to get the email and then I actually just forward that email typing in my reply (some of us forget exactly what all we say in a comment so I like to include it.) I used copy the comment and then send a separate new email to the person if I had the address. But the forward method saves a few steps. Your rug looks amazing. Completely different than what I just finished hooking - one single, large, motif and done in a wide cut. Hope your husband stays well. ~Robin~ (Oh..and looking forward to your next lampshade!)

Looks pretty cozy to me. Love the rug and the mug. I have been doing a few on-line puzzles as we don't have room for big ones in the cabin. Love the leg warmers. I wish I had mine from the 80's. Happy New Year!

I always enjoy seeing your hooking projects. we have always pretty much stayed home during flu season etc not worth getting sick for sure as we get older. I always go grocery shopping very early too when the stores do not have a lot of people in them. we have an ice event all day now tonight we are to get snow-ugh well it is winter haha

I can't wait to see the darling finished rug and the lamp shade which intrigues me. It's terribly cold here, too. I love those leg warmers. Glad you are sticking in. My email is jeanie@wkar.org. And I did hear back from you yesterday or the day before (well, very recently). Alert Blogger on that one.
