I was up showered and dressed bright and early Friday.
Over the hills I went to my Sweet Miss B!
Her parents were off to on a Christmas trip with her aunt and uncle.
She and her sweet friend had early release from school. I did the pick up and once we got home we decorated cookies!
Lots and lots of cookies. I love how creative they were.
They made bags for all their friends and some to give to Santa on Christmas eve.
And kora well she sat dutifully waiting for a sprinkle or a cookie to drop. Clean up crew of one lol.
And they made ornaments from bits and pieces. why would you not want a christmas turtle????
My sweet B has a clear phone case and she makes a new piece to slip in for each holiday! she painted it and then stitched the mittens.
And speaking of stitching her stitched pants were a big hit at school so she is adding some more embellishments.
Sat night we went to a tiny little theater in North Conway to see A Christmas Carol. Sweet B's science teacher was in the production.
And on the way in she met one of her good friends. So sweet to hear them so happy to see each other and have so much to chat about even though they saw each other at school the day before.
This morning it was a chilly 6 degrees F. I walked the dog and sat at the table to look at the woods outside their window and have my coffee. I saw a little path to their neighbors house all frosty yet it felt cozy.

My time with my grand is so precious to me she is growing up to be one amazing young lady and there are not that many more years she will want to decorate cookies with me.

I don't have much going this week, a yoga class, a dentist appointment, and make a Christmas basket to drop off at the highway dept. Christmas is right around the corner. I have celebrated this month well. Have a wonderful week!!!

Your granddaughter sounds like a lovely girl. I am so glad you got to spend some time with her this weekend. Grandchildren are such a wonderful blessing. I hope you have a great week! See you again soon!
It sounds like some wonderful days of Grammie duty! Your sweet B is very talented. Yes, those grands grow up too fast!
Your granddaughter takes after her grandma. So creative and talented.
I'm glad that she is still interested in creating memories with you.
Hugs,
Julia
You have indeed celebrated well thus far. And it isn’t over yet.
We had Saturday past with the grands making cookies. Precious time indeed!
Since your grandchild is a girl think you'll have many more years sharing memories. Different though, when the grandchild is a boy. I only see my 20 year old grandson now a couple times a year.
You are truly celebrating the holiday in grand style and perfectly. How fun to have that time with Miss B. She certainly is one talented young lady and it's so wonderful seeing her pursuing her creative side. Seeing A Christmas Carol as a local production would be so fun! Our local theatre group only ever does The Nutcracker as far as I know. Enjoy this countdown week...I'm certain you will! ~Robin~
What a sweet way to spend your time...with Grands...
Merry Christmas friend!!
hugs

Those girls sure did get creative when they decorated cookies. Your granddaughter sounds like such a sweetheart. Nice that you're making the most of these years when she still likes to do things with you💗💗💗💗💗
Cookies and ornaments, you can't beat those activities with a grand. And I hope those activities continue for many years to come!
Look how cute those cookies turned out! Miss B has grown up seemingly over night. I have 6 granddaughters and the youngest are 16. We haven't done cookies is a long time but my son mentioned the other day that his girls were thinking of coming over to do some. Hopefully that will happen! Looks like a fun grandma time. Looks like you have lots of snow. Ours melted but maybe a few flakes starting tomorrow. So have a great Thursday Cathy!
