So Much To Crow About

We now have crows, 5 crows coming and going. I have not seen many crows in the winter and I am not sure what they are looking for but I do love seeing them.

Over the hill we went again to see our daughter and family.

This time we went to Jackson NH for the evening.
First stop The Wentworth for a pre dinner drink.

Then on to the Christmas Tree Inn for dinner.

The whole restaurant was decorated. The food was good and all was very festive.

My wonderful family.

Just for fun..lol

Christmas dinner was at my daughter's. We celebrated with my son in law's family. Her father in law always makes the dinner. This is one huge roast beef, cooked to perfection.

And the first two at the dinner table are the grandfathers lol.

We have been very chilly. But it is warming up and rain is predicated. I would prefer snow because this rain will turn to ice when it hits the cold ground.

We are tucked in for the next few days at least.
I hope your Christmas was a good one. I will get around to visit soon.
Have a great week.

Merry day after Christmas. It sounds like you had a wonderful holiday. My Christmas was good, too. Time spent with family warms the heart.
We are currently at 41* ;-) I will take it. No white Christmas here in northern Ohio.
Enjoy your quiet time. I love the time between Christmas and New Year's. I get to kick back and relax, but this year I have more activities planned than normal. My choosing...so I can't complain.

Oh it all looks wonderful! And tucked in for winter sounds ideal...I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to some long winter naps!

I hope the rain doesn't turn to ice. Could be treacherous. I like the picture of you sweet family. Happy New Year 🎈🧨✨🎉🎇

Don't think I've ever seen a crow in my yard. I've had many blackbirds, some red-winged blackbirds, grackles and other colorful birds. But it would be fun to leave treats for a blackbird and see what it returns to me. Merry Christmas.

Well, you had a terrific Christmas too. So glad. It looked great. I know what you mean about rain turning to ice - that is what we get here sometimes.

"Five for silver..." so the saying goes. ;-) It looks and sounds like a fun and festive Christmas for you. Dinner at a place called The Christmas Tree Inn is so apropos! And your main course for dinner at your daughter's looks amazing. Yum! Freezing rain, fog, ice, you name it, we have. Ick. I, too, am tucked in for the next few days. I do have to venture out to pay property taxes tomorrow...may need my ice skates me thinks...but, other than that, it's quiet. Yay!! ~Robin~

It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas with family as well did too in NH. No snow, but the flurries from Christmas Eve did leave some snow still on the ground.

Looks like you had some festive fun! I giggled at the elf pics. Too cute. It is already 47 here at 9 this morning. We are having a heat wave of 55 with rain moving in. It was a horrible rainy night one last evening when we met my daughter and grands for dinner. They could not make it for Christmas, so this was our Christmas Past dinner as we called it. Hope you have a great weekend. We too have lots of crows. Guess they will keep the squirrel and rabbit population down. Janice

Your family is so darn cute! You are blessed with great people around you and the gathering looks like it was fun and delicious! Roast is one of my favs! I love the look of the places you went to eat. So pretty and festive. Our weather is crazy warm. Almost 60 today but the cold and snow are coming toward the middle of next week. I Probably won't be working much next week with the holiday so I'll be hunkering down too. Enjoy your quiet time!

It looks like you had a wonderful Christmas with the family. That inn looks like a fun place to eat. I have been getting starlings at my feeder, I guess they forgot to fly south. Always love seeing the birds this time of year, the feeder is always busy.
