Another Day Another Storm

The sun finally came out this afternoon so I headed out to do my snow chores. Just a couple of inches this time.

My Charlie Brown tree is looking festive.

I had my sweet friends for a couple of overnights. Our project was making centerpieces. Donna brought the container and the wet foam. I cut greens and anything left in my garden.
                       Voila!
This is a very small sample of some off the gifts I got. The chicken feed bag made by Bonnie, the owl gourd was painted by Dayle. Great talent in this group.
Today I caught up on laundry and made cookies for a cookie walk this weekend.
I pulled my bathrobe out of the dryer and could not resist. I wrapped up in the warm bathrobe and settled in for some chai.

Yes chai! I bought some when I was out with the girls at a local coffee shop. Yumm!

Tomorrow I head to Maine for Christmas in Kennebunk with a friend.

Have a great weekend!

What fun with your friends! They are a talented bunch.
I make chai every year, perfect for gifts and just right to drink in this snowy weather.
Have fun on your trip!

What beautiful centerpieces!
I guess you do have a crazy, busy December. Enjoy every minute of it.
Sometimes when I take towels out of the dryer I will wear one like a shawl ;-)
Safe travels.

I swear no one has more fun than you do! Centerpieces are great...I used to make the fresh green centerpieces years ago...your photos brought back memories. Warm bathrobe sounds wonderful...kind of like the nice warm blankets in the hospital. Have fun in Kennebunk! (Somehow, I know you will! ;-) ). ~Robin~

You do seem to keep busy and have lots of fun and friends. I would get under that blanket too - and have regular tea.

Are the planner of all these get togethers? You do a great job! The snow we had on Thanksgiving is still with us plus more on top of that.

The centerpieces are very lovely for the season, Cathy, and the gifts were special too. There's nothing like cuddling up in something warm from the dryer.
