Is This The Party To Whom I Am Speaking?

Because it gets dark so early now, when I get home from work husband and I walk our road in the dark. He meets me at the driveway with a flashlight and off we go. We live in the woods there are no street lights. We try to walk without the flashlight on so we can see the stars it truly is amazing! We have just loved it. Who knows when it gets super cold but for now it is a way to relax before dinner.

This was a week ago now it is very dark. Plus we have been having the most wonderful weather for November high 60s touching 70 for us that is crazy warm! We are enjoying it as we know it will all come to an end soon enough.

This is the pattern heard around the world! I want this pattern it can not be longer be reproduced I have talked to everyone associated with it and more. I am hoping someone has it in their stash not hooked. But for now I have let it go.

Because I got this sweetie in the mail!!! I am putting the one I am working on aside as I am limping along and I want to work on this one very badly. Oh the life of a hooker lol.

Because it was a beautiful day and we have not been out of the house for fun for us in so long we headed deeper into our mountains.
The foliage is gone but the mountains are so so pretty.

This one the moon was almost sitting on top of it.

Husband took us a route that I had not been on and we made a couple of stops to see the beauty of it all.

And we ended up here. this is a very old some say oldest country store. It had the old wood floors and lots of fun things. We ordered take out sandwiches to eat on the porch. They were huge! and we ate it all lol.

This was right next door the steeple on this church was very different. We also crossed the covered bridge but for some reason no picture of that. It was a nice day that we needed to get out! and the beautiful sunshine and warmth was a bonus!

I ordered a new computer, I got a notice they were shipping it. At  1AM a got text from my credit card company that they denied the charge because of suspected fraud. So at 7am I got up called the credit card company to tell them it was not fraud. She wanted to be sure I was who I said I was and she wanted to send me a text code. Well I looked all over the kitchen no phone! and told her so. Well that could be because I was talking to her on it!!!!!
She must of thought I got a live one here! so how do I get a text while talking on the phone? who knows? but I thought well if I lose her she thinks I am nuts anyway who cares. I got the text and cleared it all up phew!

We have a couple more days of this glorious weather I am getting out in it as much as I can.
Have a wonderful healthy week!

We are having the same weather as you. I've noticed how fast it gets dark already. I'm looking forward to the day getting longer again. Looking at the star is so uplifting.

LOL... with the credit card transaction. I really hate buying online and I only do it when it is necessary. I like dealing in person as much as possible but sometimes it's not possible. I wish everyone was honest.
I'm missing the beautiful colored foliage.
Stay safe and well.
Hugs, Julia

Hubby Bob did that with his phone at the store. He was talking on his phone to his dad and tells him, when I find my phone I will call you back. LOL He was on the phone already. We have had temps in the 70 here too. It wont last though and I did not get out to enjoy it either. Today one year ago we had 11 inches of snow. UGH not looking forward to that. Beautiful pics of those you did manage to take. Janice

Our weather has been great too! Sunny and 75 today! Maybe companies shouldn't call at 1am! However, I've done the same thing!

Did you take the photo of the night sky? I can see a meteor flying by, that is cool. I am the same way, I just use the phone, but no idea how to do two things at once, lol. I have seen that store mentioned somewhere, a place I will have to visit next year.

Sadly this beautiful weather is ending, but it was great while it lasted.
So funny about the phone. I am sometimes the same way.
Hopefully the new computer has arrived. I hope there is not too much new to learn.

The good weather turned to bad weather as of today and temps are dropping even more this evening. Love your new sweetie rug and as you know I've been working on mine at camp. Trying to catch up on reading blogs and still have work to do around here but eventually I'll get a photo of my accomplishments on my blog.

Your gorgeous picture of the night sky makes me remember all the times over the years that I have carried a flashlight when I went walking. I simply loved the time I went walking at midnight. Hopefully, the pattern heard around the world will show up in some unexpected way.

You twilight/starlit walks sound like fun...and a great way to clear your mind and body of the "trappings" of the day. I am not familiar with the "pattern heard around the world"??? All I can make out is that it appears to be by Barb Carroll??? What is the name of it? I can do some checking with the (few) contacts I have?? Wow...having read your post from today prior to this one, you've made fast work of your New Year's Bear.... But that should not surprise me LOL. Sorry I missed this post!! ~Robin~
