Before And After

I thought you should see a before and after. This is a bench that
Husband got at the dump.

This is after! the oak came from the dump, the black spray paint
is the only thing he bought. So for a grand total of about 5.00
a great bench!

A recent dump find, the front of this tool box has a cracked front the only
word left is Plymouth the town I work in.

The side is fabulous wouldn't this look great with pots of geraniums?
***
we are back in the cold we are in the 50's right now with frost warnings tonight.
Last Friday, Sat, Sun was in the high 90's I just can't believe this weather.
I hope you are all safe and dry we are going into rain on Thursday for a few days.
Have a great week!

Wow what a great job and what a difference. TLC from your hubby sure gave it a new least on life. It looks great.

I think that you are right, a nice big geranium would look great but will hubby have other pland for it?

Frost warning, you have to be kidding. We must be returning to the ice age.

I still haven't put away my winter cloths. They are right handy still.

Hugs,
JB

Beautiful bench! I love it! You're right, that box would look super with geraniums...our weather is crazy too. It was in the 40's last night, but today was picture perfect with sun and about 70. Too bad most of the day was spent at work! We're getting the rain on Thurs. too but I'm guessing we'll need it. Have a good week!

Great job on the bench; I really need to go with you guys to da dump to get some great finds too.
Temps in the 50's here now too, but what is great I leaving a window open on a crack so that in the morning it is cool in the house and no need to turn on the A/C when it heats up outside.

My gosh--what a beautiful bench you now have. You have an eye to see something, that is all beat up, on how it will look when it is revived. I LOVE old wooden boxes--of any kind. Especially love that carrier you got! I can see it out on the porch or steps with red geraniums in it. Just protect the inside some way so it doesn't rot out when you water said geraniums. Have fun!!!
