I have no idea why this picture turned. I found this at
an antique store for 6.00 I have taken a quick look at it
I am hoping to get some time to read it.
I was lucky enough to get to the thrift store today
this is not a great picture but the earring on the left
has been cleaned. I guess they are silver but no markings
so not sure what kind of silver. for 1.00 they are mine.
Miss B's favorite thing to do is play-doh
I thought these would be a great prize for
going on the potty. Yeah potty!
I had coffee after work today with my sweet friend
what a great treat we do not see each other near enough.
She passed me a bag full of goodies in it was this wool bedspread
it is single size I washed and dried it, it has one little stain I
am going to treat again. I hate to think of cutting it up.

we have had some wild weather as I know most of you have.
Our driveway has been one block of ice. Our driveway is very steep and goes down
towards our house so if you start to slide you can either go over the edge
or into one of the cars or truck at the end, both not good.
So the warm weather started to come, by the time I went to bed it was
38 degrees what is usually our high for the days.
when I got up this morning it was a balmy 52 and not a sign of
ice or snow. By the time I got to work it had dropped 10 degrees the wind was
blowing and rain and snow was falling it is now 28 and blowing.

Great find at the antique store. I love to read rug hooking books when ever I can get my hands on some.
I hit the mother load last year when someone gave my artist daughter who teaches weaving at the New Brunswick College of Craft and Design a big pile of Rug Hooking magazine. I really treasure them as they have so much good information.
I don't blame you on not wanting to cut that wool blanket, not until summer at least, lol.
Have a great weekend and stay warm and safe.
We most of our snow except the piles and the ice on our driveway is all gone too.
Hugs,
JB
The weather is pretty wild in Ohio. Yesterday was spring-like and today it's cold and VERY windy. The kind of cold that goes right through you. I definitely prefer yesterday's weather...lol!
Hugs :)

Wonderful goodies! So glad that you and your friend were able to spend some time together.Love the wool bedspread,I wouldn't want to cut it either.LOL! Yeah, the weather has been crazy lately. We had 70 degrees a few days ago and tonight we are expecting a wind chill of zero.Hugs,Jen
As always beautiful finds.
*****the charlotte stratton book should be a good read. she was in partnership with pearl mcgowan, actually she started as pearl's teacher. there was a battle about
patterns, but inreality it was that charlotte had an affair with
pearl's husband and eventually married him. the stratton designs were done on tin. lots of history...let us know how the book pans out.
Odear, I don't think I could cut up that beautiful blanket. I'duse it as a throw or at the end of the bed as extra warmth when temps call for it.
