Baby It's Cold Outside...

I was lucky enough to get the first two
years of Downton Abbey from the library.
since we are below zero most of this week I have
my feet up and catching up.

This is Tuckerman's Ravine, in the spring people hike into
here to do spring skiing it is very dangerous but they can't seem
to resist going. Wind chill on Mt Washington tonight is -73 f.
we are-4 with wind chill about -24.
I know a lot of you are in the deep freeze too..
***
We went to Boston today for David's appointment. All is well
They said he did very well through his sickness and there is no sign
of infections left over.
***
I am off to a hook in this weekend I hope to meet up the Courtney.
Stay warm everyone!

I'm just loving Downton. I'm half way through season 2. It's freezing here tonight - windchill minus 31
If you see Courtney, say hi for me.
Oh, great news about Dave's report too

Yes, put up your feet and watch the popular Downton Abbey series. Everyone is talking about it.

I'm glad that there's no signs of infection left. That's great news.

It's cold here too, -20 Celsius. = -4 and we moved all the heifers inside the warmer barn for the next few days. It means a lot more work for me as I have to feed a lot of animals and giving them all grain and hay. They eat a lot..

Stay warm and cosy

They say the top of Mt. Washington has the worst weather in the world. I believe it!! Mt sister lives in Bretton Woods NH. I'm shivering just thinking about it. Glad David's appointment went well.

I'm a Downton fan too and have both seasons 1 and 2 and have 3 on pre-order from amazon. The discs I buy are re-watched and re-enjoyed too. Although it's quite chilly here, we are told that next week there is a warm-up coming. Enjoy your DA viewing time!

Quite cold here in Pennsylvania too. I just wish the wind would stop. That's what's making it so bitter. But I don't complain much as I love winter and I love the cold. Just wish We'd get some snow! Glad David's doing so well!!! And happy that you didn't get sick! Have great fun at the hook-in and say hello to Courtney for me. Talk to you later.

Oh honey I have been praying for you and David. I am so happy to read about his awesome report. Thank goodness you did not get the flu too. I had prayed and prayed you wouldn't since you were taking care of your sweet hubby.
Girl I would die in those temps. Please forgive me for telling you that it was in the high 70's here today and I mowed and raked leaves. I know crazy because by the weekend it will probably be freezing again but of course not your kind of freezing.
I can't even begin to imagine. haha
I have never heard of this Downtown Abbey. Makes me want to watch it now that I have seen it on two sites tonight. lol
Have fun doing your rugs this weekend.
Think of you often.
Love
Maggie

Just finished Season 3 of Downton Abbey (couldn't wait...had to buy it!)...such a great series. Have you seen Season 1 of Call the Midwife? Another wonderful show...your library should have that as well. Crazy weather here in Maine...actually all over.
Stay warm,
