Our foliage is coming along slow but sure.
I got a chance to hit my favorite thrift. I found 4 magazines
that were dated October of this year at 10 cents each, and I found this
very large fabric sample.
Since I have not finished my little bunny I hooked this spring I thought
I would make a pillow. Here are the other two color choices.
I will use the darkest sample. I paid .60 cents for the whole thing.
And the big news I have finished binding the cat rug she is done and on the table.
When I cam home from work today this is what was in our tree!
it is three cubs, one is to the left of the mom and mom.
lord they were so cute look at the one at the top:)
I have a thankful journal and though I am not good at writing every night
I do lay my head on the pillow nightly and list all the things that I am thankful
for in that day. Tonight I will be thankful for seeing such a sweet sight.

I am off to get started on the bunny rug I am on a roll.

Oh my... I think I'd be thankful not seeing three bear in a tree. I'd be worried about the chickens. You must live close to a wooded area. I hope that your chickens are safe. JB
Well, the pic of the 3 cubs is amazing. But aren't you worried about where the over protected Momma is?
How far away from you were those bear cubs? Around here, there would be quite a stir about them being out of the mountains in someone's tree!
You find the best things at your thrift shop! I don't seem to have that luck around here.
Enjoy your Thursday evening!
OMGosh you do live in the middle of the woods. hahaha
I was shocked when I realized what I was looking at in this picture.
You weren't afraid of the momma coming down and chasing you. lol
Was so surprised when I read that you were born and raised in Booth Bay Harbor. I have to say it was my favorite place on our trip. If there were two of me one would live in Booth Bay.
I will try and sort out my photo's of the ones taken there and try to do a post.
Things have been crazy since being back so naturally blogging has to take a back burner.
Hope you have a gorgeous weekend.
Love ya
Maggie
Wow are you afraid of running into the mama bear? Scary for this city girl.
Good Evening Cathy, love the cloth and your bunny rug, good for you to get back into hooking. The bear family is so sweet, that is really great to see, hope they all make it through the winter, so many wind up killed, makes me sad, we have to share this world with the animals to, they are all God`s creatures.Blessings Francine.
wonderful finds!
but bears 3? wow!
You get an A+ from me, the Thrift Store Girl! Keep blogging!

Oh but those 3 babies are cute; just wonder how close mama bear was? Sounds like a Three Bears rug in the making.
