We had so much fun this weekend. we toured 3 NH wineries just beautiful.
This winery was on about an acre.
They had grapes to show and taste. I was shocked at how
sweet the grapes were nothing like supermarket grapes.
And of course we tasted wine. Some very different wines were
tasted. Honey, elderberry, apple, blueberries, peach and ginger to name a few.
Some of the winery's asked you to buy a wine glass for a few dollars each.
I have to say the one winery that didn't ask us to do that was the best.
We did buy a few bottles and I have plans to go back to around Christmas to some gifts.
We went with my brother in law and his wife. They stayed over and
brought a great hostess gift.
In the evening we went to see a comic Juston Mckinny he grew up in
Kittery Maine and he has the people down. If you get a chance go to see him you will
laugh a lot.
Ok aside from all of the wine drinking I did get something done.
this bunny pillow was backed with that great cloth piece I found.
I did a little crochet edge to fill in I think it looks pretty good.
We had a lot of rain this weekend but we made the best of it anyway.

I got a chance to read the new farmers almanac for us in the North East
it will be a year of low moisture. It looks like some snow but lots
of rain. If it means ice I would rather have the snow. But the temps are suppose
to be moderate. So we shall see.

Hi Cathy, that sounds like a fun weekend touring the vineyards and tasting wine. We had grapes just like that this year on our grapevines, good year, now we are making wine with them. Love how your crochet ends turned out, looks great. Have a great week, Blessings Francine.
This sounds like a very good and busy week-end! We enjoy visiting wineries!:) Usually come away with a purchase or two, too.:)
Oh how fun... Visiting a winery is on my bucket list to do when, if we ever retire. I haven't made wine in quite a while. Life seems too busy.
Nice little pillow.

For our area the Farmer's Almanac is never correct. It will be interesting to see if it predicts correctly.
Beautiful photos - a feast for the eyes.
Oh no, no snow again this year. Last year was so unusual with just that big storm big on Halloween and then again that one day in March. I would love to take a tour of the local wineries. Sounds like a fabulous time.
We have someone in our neighborhood that makes their own wine.. IT's really good..
Please send us some of your rain.. It is so dry here in Iowa . The farmers almanac said we are not going to get much snow.. Hope we get lots of ice.. no ice just rain.
Have a great Sunday evening. ta ta for now from Iowa:)
That first pic just screams FALL! I think the leaves color really stand out when it's rainy. I'm so glad you had a good time. One of these days I'm heading to Maine. It's been on my list of things to do much too long...time to get it done!
Fun Weekend!! I used to love going to the wineries in the fall. Now,... I can't do sugar. BUMMER!! If we go now, I get to be the drive and you know how much fun that can be. NOT!
Beautiful Photos of the winery! :)
That would be fun. I would love to visit some vineyards. :)
Great quote!

what fun!

I agree with the not having to buy a wine glass and glad you supported the folks who didn't require that. Each Friday I go to a local wine tastig at the liquor store in my town and it is more a a mini-social gathering in under an hour as we chat more than we drink.
When I lived in California cannot believe we didn't go visi wine country then. OMG, to think of what we missed. Oh well, wasn't much into wines then.

Sounds like you had fun~! We have quite a few wineries here in Ontario in Essex County. I have been to a few. It's fun just to see how they make the wine and to taste a glass or two ;-)
That's my favorite fall activity - going to NY Wine Country in the Finger Lakes Region!
What a wonderful weekend! Wonderful photos!
Sounds like you really did have a fun weekend. Good friends paired with great wine..dosen't get much better than that. Life is good.
What a great weekend! I didn't know there were wineries in NH. Maybe someday I'll do a tour...
The grapes are so pretty!
I can't believe you saw bears in your yard! I've never once seen a bear. Deer and moose plenty, but never a bear. Today I looked up from my kitchen window to see my 2 cocker spaniels chase a fox across the yard! Thank goodness there is an invisible fence that stopped them dead in their tracks -- I would not want them to catch it. (I already know what happens if they catch a 'possum, raccoon or a porcupine, fortunately no skunks.)
Hope you are having a good week. Thanks for your visits to my blog.
