To Many Irons In The Fire

This rug is giving me fits!!! If I ever finish this one, I will be very lucky. This is the 3rd sky I have tried to put in, and I hate it. Out it comes.

And I am stitching and also trying to read this book. The book is very good, but I am slow at it as I have so many other things I think I need ok want to do. ( I need to get off my phone too)

I went to the local church sale this morning. The last of the year.
I paid 5.00 for all. They were raising money for the heat for the winter for the church.

I guess I will have a cup of chai tea and think about that darn sky.

We are finally getting some wonderful rain today. Just the sound of it is soothing. But it must have brought down limbs as we are on the generator right now and have been for a while. So thankful for that generator on days like this.
This morning, I had a foot Dr appointment. He felt I was on the right track, and the shoes were the issue. He gave me some ideas of what to do to try and not get it again.

For some reason I cannot follow some of the other blogs. It kicks me out. I will try to keep visiting and I will try to find out what to do about it.
Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Hopefully the next sky will be the perfect choice.
I know what you mean about too many irons in the fire. That is the story of my life!
So happy your foot issue is being resolved.

Oh man, I'd be so frustrated to be pulling out that sky the third time. I hope it works the next time.
Glad your foot is doing better. I've started wearing a strap thing at night that keeps my foot at a 90 degree angle which seems to be helping.

I like your sky, sometimes you just need to accept the results and move on
nice finds at the sale good luck with your foot healing hugs

I love that little holiday tray -- that was a great find. And the rug will be fine -- you'll see. I'm glad you got into the foot doc!

I'm confident you will find just the right colors. Then you'll be happy to tried and deleted the other ideas.

Ha ha...Kay says "the 3rd sky" sounds like a great country song...to me it sounds like a science fiction/fantasy novel. ;-) Fingers crossed that the "4th sky" is the charm. But I know your frustration. I redid 2 sides+ of the binding on my rug...still not happy with it but it's staying. I'll have to look into that book...sounds familiar. I'm still trying to decide on what will be my "Salem read" for the "season." Usually I have several in que by now but nothing is grabbing me this year. We had rain last weekend but certainly could use more, but there's none in the forecast for at least the next 10 days.

Sorry that you're having problems with blogger. That rug is fun and as for reading, I do get it. The good news is, we'll never run out of fun things to do!

You do find the best deals - yay! And the sky will come to you sometimes we have to step back a bit and come back to things in a couple of days. I have to ask about the ricotta dip you made in July. - it just looked so wonderful. I whipped it up myself and we loved it! Let me ask, did you use ricotta in the plastic container or a wedge? Yours looks so much cheesier than mine didd - a couple of days later I heated it up, added a little bit of cream and cream cheese and had the most fabulous quick and easy Alfredo ever - thanks for sharing!

Oops - sorry, I already asked the ricotta question.! As you said, too many irons in the fire.!

You thought being retired would give you more free time? Hmm...don't you wonder how you ever had time to work? I'm still working a little and I find myself pushing to get things done or if I'm not working I tend to push things to another day just because I can! Ha! Anyway, I hope you find the perfect sky and can get into your book. Enjoy the rain and tea. I would love a generator but we only have electric, no gas or propane to run it. I hate the idea of getting a propane tank that will only be used a little but having that peace knowing we could get water from the well might be worth that! Have a good weekend!
