80 Degrees and Fall

We should be peak color by the end of the week. A week to 10 days early.

I am slowly getting Halloween out.

I had some farm fresh eggs so I made some deviled eggs.

I got the newest King Arthur Flour catalog. I tried this cookie recipe.

They were just ok not a recipe I will keep.
My sweet B went to the home coming dance. And the time ticks by faster and faster!
I finished the book! I really enjoyed it.
Now to hook some of that darn sky!
*******
I got a chance to meet long time friends for lunch which is always fun.

We gathered as a family this weekend for the burial of my sister-in-law's ashes in the family plot. Now is the time for all the wonderful memories to live on in all of us.
***
Have a wonderful week.

It was in the 80's all last week. I think we have one more day of it, then a bit cooler. Will be in the 60-70 range here. Miss B is surely getting older....unfortunately aren't we all. :-( Janice

Was warm here too but that's gonna change come Wednesday I hear. Your granddaughter certainly is growing up.

Oh deviled eggs are a favorite here...thanks for the reminder, I need to make some! (why do I only think of them at Easter?) It's way too hot here for this time of year...84 now and it's almost 5 pm. So dry, and I fear the leaves won't be colorful this year - I hope you have a brilliant display to enjoy. Miss B looks lovely...hope she had a fun time!

Cute little ghost holding a pumpkin. It's time for all things pumpkin ( and ghosts).

You had me at deviled eggs LOL. One of my very favorite things. Our leaves are turning quickly too and we continue to be so very dry. Miss B is so lovely...She really is growing into a beautiful young woman. I've just started pulling out a bit of Halloween...started with my jacks. Not sure how much I'll get up, but it's a start. Love your ghosty blow mold. I'll have to look up that book. For some reason it sounds very familiar.
