We got about 3 inches of heavy wet snow on Saturday.
By this morning it was all gone. Thank goodness!
Our fist sighting of the bear this year. He is a big bear but we both think it is the same bear that has been here the past few years. He is just older and much bigger.
This cloudy morning, I made crepes for breakfast.
I needed to take a very quick trip to Wal-Mart. This is the view from our Wal-Mart you can see how heavy the cloud cover is.
It held off raining, so I was able to get a walk in and I met a new neighbor moving in. A nice young family, I am so pleased there will be young families in this little neighborhood.
I worked on my rug this weekend. Not sold on the garden I hooked
but I will leave it for now.
More watercolor painting. I am enjoying the process.

Beautiful tomorrow but more rainy weather ahead ugg.
Have a great week!!!

That's what I love about a spring snowstorm. It doesn't stick around for long!
Love the robin meme.
Rug is looking good!!!
I sure wouldn't want any bear encounters even if it was a small one. What cut are you using on your new rug?
I hope that you have some beautiful, warm springtime weather this week! I love your water coloring! Have a good week. See you again soon!
Ha! I put that bird on my FB this week. I agree with him! It's supposed to snow here again this week.
That's a big bear! Your crepes look so good.
I like your rug.
Hopefully this is the end of the snow and you come back next week with some flower pics! :)
Bears, crepes, and painting - you do so many wonderful things. I have to say your meme at the beginning is one of my favorites I have ever seen!
Ha ha...I agree with my namesake in your meme. Enough already! Wow...you made a lot of progress on your rug! It looks like you're doing it in a pretty fine cut. Eeek. And you are really coming alone with your watercoloring. I actually thought that was a card or a meme. Crepes...yum. I was just thinking about making some last week but was thinking of doing something savory with them because, of course, I'll have leftovers. Have a good new week!
That is a pretty big bear. I am terrible at making crepes. Your rug looks nice. Your weather looks a lot like ours. Hope it warms up.
That photo of the angry birdy made me smile : )
At least it is going quickly -- but oh my! Enough! LOVING your rug!
that first picture, too funny!! i really like crepes, and serve them often for desert!!
We are having lovely bright sun this Monday. Temps in the 50s now and may get to 60º. I started to clean out my garden room in the barn. The squirrel has been eating walnuts in there, two bites and he's done, and pulling out pink fiberglass insulation that's in the walls above the garden room. I had to carefully clean that up. No bears sighting here, but there's a presentation tomorrow evening about coyotes and wolves!
Your visiting bear is huge!! I wouldn't like to meet up with him!
Crepes are a favourite of mine and I try to have them often ( DH isn't as fond of them as I am).
The never-ending winter! But the snow wouldn’t bother me nearly as much as the bear - wow! Do they usually keep to themselves? No bears where I am - but plenty of coyotes wandering the fields and woods.Hope it’s a good week!
We are suppose to get more snow or freezing rain tomorrow so I am with you on the robin meme. I do like your new rug and those crepes looked yummy. Janice
I love the funny angry bird meme! LOL Glad your snow has left. Wow, you have bears! We do not have them in our area. Your rug is looking so pretty! Such a pretty watercolor work.......you are so talented. Here's wishing you a pleasant Easter holiday!
We also had snow on Saturday a.m. but not nearly as much as you had, Cathy, and it was gone faster too. The crepes looked good. The robin photo and caption was perfect😏
I know exactly how that robin feels! This is really getting old. At least it was a little warmer tonight - it's 49 degrees at 9:30 pm., maybe tomorrow will be better? I sure hope so! That bear is HUGE! Yikes! Your rug hooking is beautiful! Looks like a wonderful class. Jan in MA
I love the art, Cathy! Well done. I know, this winter is not letting up. Crazy!
