Bread yum.....

We had The full Beaver moon also called the Frost
moon but we are way past frost we have a light coating of snow.
I love the  full moon on the snow but it makes it very hard to sleep.
I have been cleaning as I am hosting our women's group Thanksgiving this coming Wed. I think about 14 of us will be here. I cook the turkey and each of them bring the all the fixings. But while I was cleaning out I saw my bread machine and decided to make herb bread and oh is it good!
Sat I met up with my best friend and my daughter and we had a morning of spa treatments. We do not do it often but oh how wonderful it was! my daughter gave me a whole bag of magazines which I love and this book that I am enjoying it a lot.

I finally gave up on the rug I pulled out that was a UFO and then I found this free little pattern by Kelly at http://kankerdoodle.blogspot.com/ I love her primitive style.

It really is the time of year that I tuck in and read, I reading a mystery right now by Louise Penny an wonderful author.
So a busy week ahead with my women's group coming and other  friends have invited us to dinner.

On another note husband went for a follow up appointment with a specialist this week. The verdict is he is good for now and no other appointments needed unless he has trouble again.
fingers crossed for a smooth sailing.
Have a wonderful week!

That bread looks so yummy. I can smell it here in Michigan! Have fun with your friend. I am sure you will have a great time. Janice

First, thanks for the pumpkin bread recipe. I DO love bread but guess I'll not make it since it has so much flour, sugar, oil, eggs, etc. If I baked it I'd eat the whole thing so will enjoy your enjoyment.

Kelley has given me authorization to draw her designs for those who don't draw patterns. Well, except those for this recent animal cause. But I cannot find your particular drawing in all the freebies I've saved that she's posted. When the heck did I miss that? Where did you find it on her site? Love it!!

We had same moon and our snow is gone..cold but gone! My neighbor was mowing his yard this afternoon so I guess his snow is truly gone! Your bread looks very good! I went to my bread making class and it was a no knead recipe that I'm going to try. The bread was really good too. I love to read all year but this time of year does make it more inviting to curl up with a good read. Enjoy your friends and dinner this week!

Smooth sailing! :-)
Although winter is a bit too cold for me...I'll have to admit that moonlight on snow is so pretty....especially in a country area! We haven't had any snow yet...but the colder temps sure are making it difficult to leave the warmth of my home! So, yes...some reading and big slab of that bread with some butter...along with a Kelley pattern to hook sounds like a divine way to spend the season!

My hubby knows Laura Calder’s dad. Her recipes are yum. Is there anything more heavenly than the scent of baking bread?!
