High On A Mountain Top

We had a very busy week but lots of fun too!
Monday after work we packed a dinner and hiked up
a smaller mountain. It took us about 45 minutes.

Husband enjoying the view. It was a lovely night with a cool breeze at the top.

Dessert was a little dove bar with just the right saying.

The reason for the hike? The NH music festival had a few musicians who made the hike and played till sundown. A lovely way to spend the evening.

Wed after dinner we went to concert on the common to see the Beatles!!! Truly they sounded and looked just like them. So fun to dance to the music of our youth.

Sat we picked up our sweet B and had a very fun overnight.
There was a lot a lot of fairy house building going on all over our property. So much fun!!! Then we waited for the night to come.
They came by the hundreds! We had never seen so many fire flies in our yard before. They were bringing the fairies to look at the new houses we built. There is nothing more magical
than a child who believes in faeries.
We used things we had here from sock darners, marbles etc.

We even found a secret fairy door!

Then Sunday morning bright and early we headed to another mountain. Loaded on the ski lift....

To have a brunch with family at the top. This is Cranmore Mt the mountain my sweet B ski's in the winter! Another beautiful day, clear, we could see for miles. Brunch was basic but really tasty and wonderful. Such a fun way to have breakfast and be with family.

So ends another busy week week. Back to work tomorrow but I am very thankful for this past week and all the fun.
Have a wonderful week.

I love your adventures! It's so sweet that you and Miss B made all those fairy houses! We have family coming in this week and perhaps the girls would enjoy making a fairy garden...and they don't have fireflies out West so seeing them in our yard will be a fun thing! Thanks for sharing your mountain views! Yes, work tomorrow and frankly I'm very excited to think that I may be retired by next summer...we'll see! Have a good week Cathy!

Sounds like a wonderful week. That is what summer is all about...spending time outdoors.
Making more memories with sweet B. Fun.
I hope this week is half as good for you.

What a fun evening. I'll bet seeing and listening to the Beatles look-alikes must have taken you way back to the fun times of your youth.

I’ll bet Miss B was over the moon about the fairy houses and the lightening bugs. Fun times. Hold them dear to your heart ♥️

How fun to listen to music on a mountain top...however would be afraid to get on a ski lift as i am afraid of heights. Sweet idea for fairy gardening and with the fireflies it would be magical! Janice

What a beautiful week! That Dove message is so true...there are so many people that limit themselves with their thoughts. Miss B did a fantastic job of bringing more fairies to your home!!! :-)

How wonderful to have many, many fireflies!

We seem to have more this year, but it's just that I can now look at them, from a downstairs window... As well, as just out the patio door and window.

We moved our bedroom to downstairs, and so now, I can watch fireflies, out the front window... Watch them in the front yard. And it's a new delight! To go to sleep, watching fireflies! :-)
