The End Of Halloween

I know most you have moved on from Halloween but this is
Halloween night trick or treating with B and family.
The police and fire dept were out in the community and handing out candy. This was an ambulance decorated scary...

B would have nothing to do with it. I don't blame her the scarecrow screamed when you got close to get candy.

But the neighborhood really went all out there was a grave yard in the front of this that they made.

This house is always fun! lots of blow up.

lots of carved pumpkins.

This tree was orange how it showed up white is beyond me.

We have had rain, rain and more rain. Today was sometimes sunny and sometimes cloudy but no rain. We had breakfast and out
we went to clean up the fall leaves, for hours. We are both are very tired and sore, it is hell getting old. But the yard looks good. I also cut pine branches to fill the buckets by the back door before the soil freezes.

I am hosting my women's group this week for our Thanksgiving.

Just seeing an ambulance is scary without any decorations! Looks like it was fun! We've had tons of rain too and flooding and my yard is a soggy mess. Not many leaves since we have mostly pine trees. Have a great week.

It is hell getting old, but it beats the alternative 😱
Enjoy your women's group. How lucky to have such special friends.

It looks like your community really had the Halloween spirit. I don't blame Miss B for not wanting to be scared by the screaming scarecrow. That's a bit much for a little kid.

I spent Halloween in Ottawa with my daughter where they got less trick or treaters this year as it was raining. They usually get about 125 but this year they only got 71 trick or treaters. They were so cute... They get the whole front yard decorated and lots of carved pumpkins, they even had a fogging machine that could be controlled with a remote. I even attended an elementary school Halloween dance and dressed as a witch. The most fun I had in years, dancing with my little grandsons to the Monster Mash and Ghostbuster and Gamnang Style. lol.
Hugs, Julia

I agree, that ambulance was a bit much, not into haunted houses either.
Bill said he is just going to mow over the leaves, lol.

What a GREAT quote! :-) Your town looks like a lot of fun, especially during Halloween! Rest up after raking all those leaves....long soak in epsom salt bath will help a lot! :-)
