The Quiet Route....

Oh my word stay out of the grocery stores you will get trampled!

I took the quiet route yesterday and hit up the library.

I am at the back ground of my rug I thought I would use up
some pieces of  tan I have. I may pull out the darker ones now that
I see this picture.

Since it is snowing hard outside, I have made myself a little punch (crystal light) and a
fresh strawberry makes me feel better about being house bound.

The house is well stocked with food, candles, flashlights,
and lots of wood for the beast in the basement, in case the worse happens a
power outage. We are on a small dead end of road so we are last to get power back after we lose it.
Happy Valentines Everyone!

We are getting rain now, but not worth going out. I got a lot of library books for quilting and things to keep me busy.

Good luck to you. Thankfully this morning when I awoke saw there was snow overnight, turned to rain so it was slush. It didn't freeze so it finally ended up being standing water on the ground.

Your punch looks delish.... I've been eating strawberries like crazy too.

I found you via Balisha's blog. I had to laugh at the first cartoon...I live in GA and that is how we act when it snows!
Your rug is gorgeous. We have been snowed in for a few days...your "punch" and books look delightful. Wishing you a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Thinking of you as this storm approaches. We were left with eight inches of snow here overnight! Then, warmer temps today along with sun melted about half of it.

Cathy, thank goodness we are hardy New Englander's who know what we are in for as far as winter weather is concerned...Mr. Dog Trot is out plowing as I type, sleet has begun to fall...Spring will arrive, it just may be later rather than sooner...Stay warm and safe.....Hugs, Julie....

I think we're safe from the panic of a snowstorm for a bit. I hear temps may hit 50 next week...shazammm! Take care and I hope this is the last nasty storm!

Well you are the smart one to avoid the grocery store and go o the library instead.
I went and I survived but it wasn't bad at our Co-op. We got heavy white manna that fell over night and no one is eating it. It's still falling.

I hope that you had a lovely Valentine Day.
Hugs,
JB
