Zinnias

Zinnias are some of my favorite flowers

They come in all shapes and colors

And make the doorway very happy.

Of course I am very partial to hydrangeas too, it looks like a
good year for them.

My veggies are still limping along. The rain did most of them in.

We are lucky enough to live by the Holderness Science Center.
Miss B and family went on Sunday.

We get free tickets from our local library. Always check with your library
to see what they offer for museums and attractions in your state.

Oh deer he wouldn't look at the camera. There were many, many more animals, we enjoyed
our time with family very much. And speaking of family.....

Miss B in all her glory!

Who doesn't love Zinnias? I smile every time I see one and have always loved hydrangeas. Mine are not doing well because of the triple digits all summer.
I know you hate to see your summer end but I am looking forward to fall but of course not winter.
Miss B also brings a smile to my face every time I see her too. She is just so adorable. I am so happy you get to keep her as often as you do.
With my grand daughter having juvenile diabetes I don't get to keep them any more. Maybe by next summer she will be old enough for them to let me.
I love this saying by Barbara Bush.
I admire her very much.
Hope you are well.
Love
Maggie

I am planting Zinnia's next summer. In the raised bed that was my failed veggie garden this summer. I love Zinnia's. Barbara Bush always has been a no nonsense lady--pretty smart.

Your Zinnias are gorgeous. I planted some last year and the earwigs ate them up over night. They never had a chance. Love, love your hydrangeas.
That little Miss B., what a little cute princess in high heels. Priceless photo.

I too love zinnias. My grandfather planted and huge veggie garden every year and zinnias. Come summer, anyone that came to visit, never left without a bouquet of them. I have planted zinnias every year starting in 1966 in memory of Grampa, and now I hand out the bouquets. They're beautiful.

Zinneas are one of ny favorites too, so hardy and grow right into Fall here. They make lovely bouquets don't they. Have you tried the candy cane variety yet?
