My Own Back Yard

Last Sunday we went to see Miss Baby on the way home we stopped at a little turn out that we have driven past a thousand times. As you can see our foliage is just about gone. That peak is Mr chocoura.
Why we have never stopped before is beyond me sometimes we take our own back yard for granted.
this is the wooden bridge we stood on to take the pictures.
 Such pretty wood work.
My daughter and I made a trade. I gave her a treadmill and she gave me a gate leg table. I got the better deal!
I know I have shown this mat before but it is all I have out for Halloween. our decorations are sparse this year.
my one purchase was this Christmas runner .50 a deal. I have seen so many things I would have bought but I am packing things away to get the house ready to super clean for when  David comes home after his transplant.
It is a rainy cold night, the wind is blowing and I am happy I am sitting in this nice warm house waiting for the water to heat for a tea.

What gorgeous photos. I love the photo before the one on the bridge. When ever we go up to see my daughter we always say how beautiful it is up there. Good luck with the super clean.

Love the table and mat. I think we do forget that sometimes the best views are right in our own areas. I find that out when we have visitors and we take them out and about. I forget how many fun things we do have around here. Have a good week. We've got the cold and rain too...I think it's suppose to stop raining by this weekend but I think the cold is here to stay!

Yes, I'd definitely rather have the table than the treadmill!
You live in a gorgeous area. And I'd love to have a porch railing for my cabin made like that bridge

Isn't it amazing the things we see everyday that we don't really see?

You live in such a pretty area!! That bridge is so neat. I know what you mean though...we lived here for 20 years before I saw some gorgeous areas near us that are only 10 minutes from home! That's BAD, I admit.
Love your table...a true treasure!

Beautiful scenery, beautiful old wooden bridge. Love the Halloween rug, the pattern looks very vintage. Gate leg table or treadmill? I'd say you got the better end of the deal! Keeping you in my prayers, Julie.

Great scenic photos. It's amazing how we get used to our surroundings and sometimes can miss the beauty that's right in our own backyard.

God Bless and have a Wonderful Weekend :-)

Beautiful place to visit glad you stopped.
I have hardly any decorations out this year either. I have been just too busy with the house in town to work on decorating.
Your mat is really wonderful
I do think you got the better deal with the table. hahaha
