H.H.H. AND T.?

It is a very hazy, hot, and humid day and we are under a tornado watch? I have been in New England all of my 50 plus years and I have never seen a tornado. So since it is so hot I will pour this into that glass and with a big chunk of lime and I just may treat myself to a rim of                                                              salt.mmmmmmmmmmmm
And we have Miss Baby news she rolled over! So exciting she is growing by leaps and bounds.
David went to the ending ceremony for the tech where he teaches, they were all surprised to see him. It was so great to see the kids faces when he came in. One of the moms came up to us and told him how much her son talks about David. I stepped away to let them talk, I saw all three hugging, mom and David wiping tears and the nice young man trying to look every where but at them. It is so nice to see some of the impact he has on the kids. Of course we have several over the years that are like our own kids calling and coming to family events. they have been like our daughter's brothers over the years.

I hope you are nice and cool, I am hanging out on the porch until the weather breaks, 75 percent humidity is unheard of here.

We've roasted these past few days and I guess it's moved east...you can have it! It's been a glorious day here and I know it's coming your way soon. It's great that your hubby got to go and see his students. It's wonderful to have great teachers who can change lives. P.S..I'm not a drinker, but that does look very yummy and frankly, you deserve some down time!

Your husband not only sounds like a wonderful human being, but a very gifted and caring teacher. This weather is crazy! Tornado warnings, severe thunder storms and oh that hunidity, but I dare not complain it could be a lot worse. The beverage looks very tasty-cheers!!!

I'm watching the tornado on the news. Scary! I am hoping you are all OK. I love the story about your husband and the students. I guess we never realize the impact we have on others until something like this happens.

Wow crazy weather indeed. We are unseasonably cool with highs only in the 60s and maybe 70s.

Watching the news as we speak...YIKES! We're getting thunder and lightening. I spent the day waiting for AAA to tow my dead car for...count this...4+ hours! I now know why air traffic controllers fall asleep! Watching traffic at a Mobil station for that amount of time...BORING...gave me prayer time though ;-)
I'm so glad your Hubs went to the ceremony. We teachers often don't know the impact we have...sometimes it's quite profound!
Wish I was joining you for the margarita!!
Hugs,
Courtney

Nice to see a post from you. I'm so glad hubby could get to the end of year ceremony. It had to feel good ~ for both of you!
I'll say it again ~ Miss Baby is just too cute for words!!!
I hope the T's stay away. Yesterday was very hot and humid here. Today is near perfect in my book. I hope it stays that way for the weekend. I have so much to do in the yard.
Pug hugs :)

The kids must have been thrilled to see your husband. I just read the previous post and it appears you both have a positive attitude. You two are still in my nightly prayers. The storm missed us but my brother lives in Worcester County and I fear they did not fair as well as us.

Miss Baby is growing fast and she's some cute. Our weather was sunny in part, cloudy in part and breezy in part and rather coolish this early evening. No complaints though because it was not raining.

I hope that it cools down a bit and the humidity drops for you. JB

Cathy,
So sweet! Miss baby is rolling over already!
We just had that humid weather here a couple of days ago. It was almost bizarre going from cool to that hot overnight. The winds have been horrific gale force yesterday and last night. Had to bring in my hanging plants and anything not fastened down for fear they'd end up in the next county!
Nicer today but they say the humid stuff is coming back by Fri.
Thinking good thoughts for you and your beloved!
Hugs!

It's been a miserable day! And the tornadoes - how awful!

Miss Baby is so darn adorable! I'm happy to hear your husband went to the school ceremony!

I hope you stay cool on your porch. There is nothing worse than humidty heat. I'll be out in it today all day for field day with my 6th graders.

Honey I am so sorry to hear about your husband and I will of course add you both to my prayers.
I am so sorry I have not been over in a while and I miss you.
Hope the bad weather missed you entirely and everything is okay.
