Amazing Dump Day

On my way to my daughter's I stopped at my dump and loooooook what I found!!!!! This is amazing it is 4feet plus and not some wimpy wire, it is steel. I hate to think just how much this cost and just why was it at the dump????? I got a large pot at a yard sale last summer for 1.00 so the entrance to the front of my house is going to look amazing.
I also got a magazine it is old but who cares for free and I can toss it when read. And some movies I still have VHS so I can play both. These will be great for the next snowy night.

After  I got to may daughters and had a chance to love that baby we went to a church sale where I got another movie and magazine. a total of .75 spent. then off to lunch Miss baby was so good and no I will not bore you with more pictures. It is so nice having wed to visit with them.
My paper whites are blooming makes winter bearable you either love the smell or hate the smell I love it.

And now for the last installment of my giveaway. this is a wooden heart that my husband makes. I painted and put glitter on it. I have them hanging in all the windows so very valentines. Cathy,
One is never bored with baby pictures! Post them! Post them! That iron piece is a great find. I love garden ornaments and this terrible snowy January is the best time to dream of our gardens and all the possibilities. Just don't check back with me in July with the garden...I'm not so enthusiastic! The wooden heart is great. I love all these giveaways--such fun. Thanks for your great comments on my blog.

I hope you post a pic of how you use that amazing find.. That sculpture is fantastic! I'm a magazine ahlolic. Hubby has a waiting room with a few fav mags, and good buddy Donna (Starkey Hollow) leaves me treasures in my locker when she's done with hers..I don't know why I love them so. I usually bring in a load when I'm done, put them on the breakroom table and "BAM!", they're gone! So I guess I'm not alone! Cute, cute heart for Valentines day! Great giveaway!

Paper whites....I love them but I think they smell a bit like cat urine :(
Oh, you can bore us with baby pictures any time. I would love to see her and I'm sure others would, too. How nice that you got to visit and go to lunch with DD and DGD.

What a great day you had at the dump!! I just haven't had a lot of luck with thrifting lately. I did buy a couple of runners, placemats and a heart shaped plate yesterday. Visit my post to see them.

I'd love to be in your give away. The heart you husband makes is really pretty! Would love to win one!!

Blessings,
Kathy

My Cathy, the Oblisk is great, and it looks like a great night in at the movies too!
I wish we were able to get things from the dump - I went yesterday with a load from the loft and saw such lovely things that folk have thrown away. The 'authorites' won't allow you to take ANYTHING away.

Cathy, I think I just might ask for directions to your dump! LOL Who in their right mind would toss out an obelisk? This piece of art will look lovely in your flower garden come spring.
