Getting Ready

Welcome!

I have been busy decorating and making lists for Easter. I thought a coffee would be a nice break.
A tree decorated with some of my Grands eggs she has colored over the years.
And a couple of very funny ones on the window sill.
I have shown my sock bunny before. When we were first married my husband went away for a week to work on a friend's house that had burned. And he brought home this♡
A vintage decoration.
And I bought this thrifting in the past few months I have been busy watching you-tube videos on just how to do this. Wish me luck!
       *************
We went to my step dads funeral. There was a nice turn out of family and long time friends. May he rest in peace.
    ***************
I played Mahjong games on my own. We played 4 games and I won 2 and was waiting for 1 tile in one game. I am really enjoying it and have met some lovely people.
  ***************
Busy week ahead. I need to shop, organize our egg hunt, and fill my grands easter basket to the brim!
Have a great week!

Sounds busy there-I have three different sizes of cast iron bunny molds like yours. I tried baking in them once and it didn't work for me-I think one needs to bake each half seperate-and then use frosting to put them together-I tried getting the cake to bake into the top mold but that didn't work-let us know how you do it.

You are are going to have a very busy week! I just found out today I am doing Easter ;-( There are only six of us so I really shouldn't complain!
Sweet vintage decoration from hubby. The eggs colored by Miss B are a real treasure.
I'm sure saying good-bye to your stepdad wasn't easy. Sending hugs.

You're way ahead of me too. And by time I'm feeling motivated to pull out my Easter decorations the holiday will be over.

I haven't done a lot of decorating for Easter but I sure like yours. Also...the book that your cup of coffee sits on looks like one I'd enjoy too.

Easter will be low key for us this year. I will just visit my mom in the morning and Bob and I will have a small scale dinner for two. Your displays are so cute. The colored eggs from sweet B a real treasure. Janice

Oh those eggs your grands made are so cute. I did a lamb cake like that one year, it wasn't the prettiest lamb cake. I'm going to get things for filling my grand's eggs too. I want to pick up a few little things to add to the baskets too.

Easter decorations and preparations were paused for taxes. My fault...procrastination is such a curse. There really isn't much to do as it will only be the kids coming for dinner and they don't each much ever. I do need to put something together for a basket for Mia but haven't been creative coming up with many ideas. She will get enough candy from Mom and Dad...and EB. And I have a things going on on Thursday and Friday so that leaves tomorrow to prepare...gulp. Love your little vintage bunny from your husband. And Miss B's eggs are wonderful - such sweet memories for the two of you.

Happy Easter Cathy! I hope it's a great weekend! We're going to celebrate on the next weekend so our son can be completely recovered..hopefully getting home from the hospital today, and our oldest son gets home from vacation in Spain with his family. That's Greek Easter anyway, so I will also be shopping on Monday after Easter and grab some good buys on Easter candy and such! Take care Cathy! P. S..love that sock bunny!

Oh my! Your decorations are so fun. I love that your grand did the eggs on the tree which is just charming! We did our egg hunt this weekend. Such a fun age for it. I think you'll be all ready! (And I'm sorry to hear about your step dad. Sending wishes for peace and healing.)
