Important Things

With wind chill we should be minus 28 f. In the morning. Now that is cold!
While I was away husband bought shades for our family room. Not for privacy (no one to see in lol) but to keep the heat in and I dare say it works! When we put the shades up in the morning you can feel the cool air trapped there.
Bravo to brave oil delivery drivers. When he backed down this snow covered, steep driveway. We held our breath when it came time to leave. Not a problem at all!
It gave me hope to see seeds in the store. The days are getting longer.
Husband has to stay healthy for his surgery this coming Wed. So 1.00 puzzles from the thrift store is just the ticket to stay home and and tucked in until then.
Cards from friends with encouraging messages mean everything.
   ****************
Life is stressful, I will take these next few days. To do things that are relaxing and that make me happy. A little painting, hooking, stitching, and making cookies for a young plow guy's birthday. Who always has to plow on his birthday.
  Have a wonderful weekend.

Seeds and all garden supplies had begun setting up in Walmart a week ago. Let’s hope spring arrives SOON! Saundra

$1 puzzles is a great purchase. Buying seeds is also so good.
The card is cute, glad people are loving on you.

Your plans all sound like good ones. The jigsaw puzzles will take up a lot of indoor time as I am finding out myself. Hope all goes well with your husband's surgery. It's cold in nashua as well πŸ₯Ά

Prayers for your husbands surgery to be a success. I could never have backed down that drive. Bravo for sure. I am over the cold. I would rather have the snow. Something must be wrong with me wishing for snow now. LOL Janice

We are -5 this morning πŸ₯ΆπŸ₯ΆπŸ₯Ά but you win in the awful weather department. I hope it starts to improve for you. In the next 10 days we are supposed to get to 32* just one day. Only 49 days until spring 🌷
Hugs and prayers to you and hubby ♥️. May he have a speedy recovery.

I'm so glad you are taking these days to do some kind and fun things for yourself. When you have a lot of stress in life, you have to remember to take care of yourself, which i sometimes harder to do than one thinks. I will not complain about 0 after reading your post.

Stay safe and warm this weekend. It looks like crazy weather heading up the East coast. Praying all goes well with hubby's surgery. Smart to put up anything to help with the cold air! I'm very ready for some warmer temps. When 20de looks like a heat wave you know it's been a cold winter so far!

Awww, you like thrift stores!! Me too! In fact, I think maybe that is what I need, an hour or two in a packed thrift store. Hopefully, the roads will clear enough soon so that I can get out and go to town. :) I like your blog!

I feel like a broken record always saying how cold and snowy we are here in Nod but, thankfully, we missed all the snow others got last weekend and we are now finally on a warm up. I'm glad you're finding ways to keep yourself busy and your mind off the upcoming week. Continuing to pray for your family.
